Bought a guitar from here after seeing a 2nd hand Fender that I had been looking for.  Really quick to answer my questions about it, and despite it not coming with a case which I knew, the shop packaged it up brilliantly to ship to the other end of the UK.  Loads of wrapping inside a solid cardboard guitar box inside another cardboard guitar box.  Arrived 2 days after purchasing in excellent transport condition and exactly as advertised. Really pleased with my first use of this shop and would definitely recommend and use again.

Not really a music person but was looking to buy an amplifier.  The staff were really helpful, full of knowledge and  gave me the time to make my decision on what was best.  A fantastic experience and really happy with my purchase.

I have visited Back Alley Music numerous times over the years. I'm not from the area but sometimes it's just worth the trip over there! What drew me on this occasion was their excellent selection of stunning lefty Eastman guitars. Needless to say I did not leave empty handed. Excellent service with friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Brilliant to deal with, found the guitar I wanted online at Back Alley Music APX600 amber and at the best price on the Internet. I usually like to go and sit in a music shop, try out a few guitars, don't look at the prices, find one that "fits" me and just buy it! But on this occasion I'd tried a friends APX600 and loved the feel and size they're small and after reading a bazillion reviews about it and reviews of Back Alley Music, I broke my guitar buying "tradition" and just went for it! So glad I did.. Steve answered the phone and was a knowledgeable, pleasant nice guy just don't tell him he sounds like he's from Liverpool we discussed pre deliver set up, and I asked him to put me a set of Elixir strings on my new purchase, no problem. I asked if I could have it delivered on a certain day and again no problem. I tracked the guitar all the way and it arrived bang on time, really well packed and just perfect. Overall, dealing with Back Alley Music was a very pleasant experience, highly recommended and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.. thanks to Steve

Steve and Chris are extremely accommodating of whatever you need and provide a genuinely honest opinion without being pushy about anything. Worth going outside peak times if you know you need to try out multiple instruments as it can get busy due to its popularity.
