Ben has been truly brilliant, I started with another instructor and had a very negative experience. But after having lessons with Ben I passed my test first time! When I first came to Ben I had the basics but no confidence driving and very little depth to my knowledge. The way Ben teaches as an instructor is unique he varies his learning styles to what best fits you. He was able to build up my confidence through varied levels of instruction and guidance. I found in the past that other instructors spend one full lesson on one thing but with Ben you do a variety of things every lesson from manoeuvres to just standard town and city driving or even more difficult high speed roads. This keeps everything fresh and gives you ample opportunity to practise and perfect all aspects of driving. I would highly recommend Ben to anyone who is new to driving or who has had past experience with a different instructor like me. He is able to put you at ease by being friendly and understanding. Ben helps you to become a confident independent driver. Thank you for everything Ben, it’s been a pleasure!

Started off didn’t have a clue about driving. Ben has taught me with his patience and calm approach how to drive for life and not just for a test. He is approachable and very down to earth he’s a top bloke. I would highly recommend him as he sets very high standards and always wants the best. Can’t thank him enough.

I’d highly recommend Ben as a instructor. I found his way of teaching was very helpful and very in depth. I felt completely prepared for the test and feel very confident about driving in the future as Ben made sure I drove in areas where I will be driving post test. For example, driving to work. I particularly liked the way Ben did not completely dictate the lesson. He encourages you to learn from your own mistakes and gives you very helpful constructive criticism. I also liked that every lesson had a set objective. This was useful as it gave me something different to aim for every lesson.

Absolutely brilliant guy. Puts the student at ease whilst still teaching lifelong skills that take The student beyond the test. Highly, highly recommend Ben at B7
