We were paying at the SELF checkout. When a man who worked for them came over and moved our trolley, with a baby in it WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION.  Said child started crying and had been very upset for the following 20 mins.  DO NOT RECOMMEND

Staff were helpful apart from someone who I assume was the manager. Constant flippant or sarcastic responses when trying to work out how to use the Hertz van service. He was clearly very annoyed that he had to actually help a customer rather than sit upstairs on his backside. 

The Hertz van service is by the way not worth the time. It's posted as a quick any easy 1 hour hire to quickly drop you items home but it takes at least an hour to set up. After 45 mins we gave up and called a friend for help carrying the items 10 mins down the road.

Staff are sometime hard to find but clean and tidy, Great place to get the things you need.

Pretty good, large DIY shop. Good selection of reasonably priced products and helpful, knowledgeable staff. Aisles are comfortably spaced. Checkouts aren't very well staffed, meaning long queues or having to use the dreaded self service.
