Can't understand some people's poor  comments sometimes. I've used this store many times, and had nothing but excellent service. A very good range of products and if, on the very odd occasion I've had to return a product, no arguments what so ever. I also know, that if you talk to the staff with respect, you'll get the same in return. Obviously there's times when they are rushed off their feet, so don't expect five star treatment then - but in general, this store is excellent, and before anybody says! I don't work there!

If your in the building trade like myself dont waste your time opening an account with B&Q, had mine a few years now and you used to be able save a little here and there which was good for when quoting on a job.
Now it works out much cheaper just going to your local builders merchants and plumbers merchants.

People seem to call the staff at this place but I think k they are wonderful people as when my wife fell seriously ill in their store they was so helpful I couldn't of got through it with out them they still keep in touch with me to see how my wife is. They sent her flowers one wonderful member of staff Sandra was amazing and I would like to thank everyone of you for your support once again you are all amazing.... John & Vicky x

I check online for a shower hose replacement, says they have a particular one in stock at a store near me. It's reduced from £24 to £5, awesome! Except I get to the store and guess what? They don't have them. I look around for other accessories I need, guess what? They don't have them. This is an all to familiar story for me, the amount of wasted time I spend in B&Q looking for things they don't have. I won't make the same mistake again that's for sure.

Just coming to end of refurbishing our bungalow bought all the flooring for every room which we are very happy  with now it's been put down. The staff were very helpful in helping us measure the flooring and skirting boards converting into metric for us.
