My rating stands at 5 stars because I actually couldn't find anything wrong with this store. It's conveniently located, it's very clean and neat, there's ample accessibility for people of all mobility ranges, prices are very reasonable, and the variety of items in the store is very impressive and useful. Additionally, staff were very polite and helpful to me and I must admit that I had a great shopping experience here.
Me and my pals went to this B&Q shop to buy equipment for my pals garden and i couldn’t have had a worse experience. We walked in initially looking for stuff for my friends garden but got interested in the bathroom section and this horrible lady came up to us and started harassing us then pretending to take us to where we wanted to be she then stops walking and tells us, “or the exit is that way”. We were shocked and asked whether she just wanted us to leave she said, “well are you actually shopping” we were so she let us go. We were being followed the entire time we shopped and it was a terrible experience. We felt it was racially motivated and because we were young. 1 out of 5 star 100%.
Ordered 3 packs of 10 upvc mouldings today from the trade point website. All well and good until I went to collect. Was given 3 strips not 3 packs. Obviously I questioned this as it states a pack of 10 for £9.97 on my order and the website. I was told this is the price for a single piece and would have to pay full price for the other 27 that I needed. After a heated conversation with the lady o. The till a manager arrived and the best he could do was half price. That's an extra £150 they wanted for items I already paid for. I was told that they could refuse the sale even though its not my mistake. I will be using euro cell from now on. B&q have lost my custom. I had my whole order refunded and left with nothing but a wasted 2 hours. I would leave a 0 star review if I could. This is a massive inconvenience after driving 45 mins to collect the order I had paid for only to drive another 45 minutes empty handed.
