I had a fantastic experience with B&Q when designing/ordering my new kitchen. Darren and his team were so helpful throughout and I am delighted with the end result. Can’t recommend enough!
Never any staff to help or man the tills.nNot enough staff full stop.nThose there are apparently spend time doing click and collect rather than giving customers in store a decent experience. Very bad idea - I aways buy more than I went in for and most things I wouldn't buy from them online.nNot the fault of the staff - fault lies with the company.
This review is specially for George, he is a Valspar rep that works in the paint department. A really lovely guy, super helpful and VERY patient with a couple that could not decide on a paint colour for the nursery! We ended up going every day over the bank holiday weekend to keep getting samples, and every time we had questions he was there to help, giving us advice on tones, shades, pricing gave us the best options/deals that they had on. He was always available to help and nothing was ever too much trouble. Would definitely recommend going to him if you're unsure on colours/type of paint you need as he is really knowledgeable and actually seems like he wants to help! Thanks George for all your help! :
Went into store as we are redoing our kitchen, wanted to speak to staff members in the kitchen design area but they were too busy, asked for a pen and they were to busy to even give us 1 pen to take notes as they were putting through “thousands of pounds in orders” which we were told. I understand they might be short staffed but we waited 30 mins and even between appointments they were more bothered about going out for a cigarette than they were to give us an appointment for another day!! Ended up getting our kitchen done elsewhere which is a shame as we quite liked the products they had….nWould not recommend visiting this store….
Absolutely useless, wanted some timber cut, stood in the queue waiting 20 minutes to be told by the staff member Geoff he can't cut timber. Only sheet timber. Perhaps have a sign up saying only sheet timber instead of wasting people's time. Will be going elsewhere.
