We went to Morrish's yesterday, and I cant fault the food or the service. As a family of 6 - four of whom are children - we aren't always easy to cater for, but the staff and restaurant were amazing. ** They do THE BEST banana milkshakes, made with Cornish icecream!!**
As a local morrish's the the place to go for fish n chips we placed an order to collect we were on time and brought out to the car in the time slot. However food wasnt hot and tasted as though it had been dished up and kept warm onionrings wete not crispy either Very disapointing for the cost
Food great but we didn't get our mushy peas. Didn't notice till we got home. May just be mushy peas but my daughter was counting on them for her diet
Bit hit and miss here at times, some good meals at times but not always. Last visit we paid for a large cod which me and hubby usually share about 11 quid and this large cod was not much bigger than a chip. We also bought meals for all family and general concensus was not again
Went for a Saturday night meal with the kids having passed this place many times. Booked via the phone which was no problem. The restaurant was clean and looked great. Took ages for someone to come and take our order though. Not sure if the "waterfall" blocks the view the staff have of the restaurant. Food was great, well presented and tasted lovely and was pretty quick to arrive. Would have like to have had a desert but no one bothered to come and clean the plates away or check on us despite us waiting for a good while. Ended up just going to the counter and paying. Disappointed in the service to be honest, but the food was lovely.
Lovely friendly staff. Fish so tasty, batter very light and the chips, dry and chunky, just as I like them. Peas, yep, proper steeped. I'm deffo going there again.
Usually good food here. Chips are hot and fish is decent. They also do scraps which you don't see too often. Prices have gone up, but so has everything else! ...And I only go as a treat once in a while. Online booking and delivery to the car is a winner.
Impossible for me to rank the atmosphere, because I use the excellent order and pick up service, where I just drive to the car park and the food is brought to me. Lovely fish and chips, that's the important part!Food: 5/5
