I was greeted by reception, who directed me in the right direction and was greeted by another person who told me what I had to do as I had already registered and completed the online check in form for my booked in service. After leaving the keys in a locker box and completing a few questions, I was introduced to the very helpful lady, Carly Beaver, who was organising & dealing with my service. She gave me approximate time windows when it would be ready & how she would be in touch. Overall, although it was a long wait as I booked in @ 8am & my car was ready at about 5pm, I was very happy with the service provided. They send you a video of the inspection and ask if you want to go ahead & authorise the work they recommend and how much the cost will be. 5* service.
I’ve come to motorcycles a little later than many people, though it’s something I’ve been wanting to try for years. Having gained my motorcycle licence a couple of months ago I wanted to get a bike so that I can gain experience and have some fun. So, when it comes to these things, I’m a novice. And when you’re a novice at anything, speaking to those in the know might seem a little daunting. As I found out, there’s no need to feel daunted. Having found a bike I liked it’s the BMW R nineT Scrambler, I contacted North Oxford BMW and made the journey up there to have a look. I was helped by Elektra who is a very experienced biker herself and her enthusiasm for motorcycling is evident. Despite my being inexperienced, Elektra was happy to share her enthusiasm for motorcycling and answer my questions honestly and objectively. The entire process of purchasing a motorcycle was stress-free with no pressure at all. Any questions I had were responded to promptly and, after my initial visit, all the paperwork was processed online. The motorcycle was delivered by Mike who is also a motorcyclist and clearly very experienced and passionate about riding. He gave me a very comprehensive introduction to the bike, we had a good old chat and he gave me some very useful advice. A couple of days after taking delivery of the R nineT, I was out for a ride and could feel my phone vibrating in my pocket. At the next stop I checked and it was Elektra with a follow-up telephone call to check how I was getting on with the bike and to see if there was anything else that I needed help with? That was a nice touch, I don’t recall any motor dealer contacting me after a sale to check everything was to my satisfaction? I have to say, the service that I’ve received from Elektra, and Mike who delivered the bike, has been absolutely first class. What’s made it so good is that they know I’m new to motorcycling and they’ve welcomed me and have been so friendly in helping me with the R nineT. I think Elektra was just as excited as me for “new bike day”! If I were to provide feedback to their bosses, I’d say look after Elektra and Mike and treat them well as they truly are genuine people who are passionate about motorcycling and that makes them great ambassadors for North Oxford BMW and for looking after your customers. Though I’m relatively new to motorcycling, I’ve found so many people who are truly friendly and passionate in helping others and Elektra and Mike have been amazing.
Excellent experience @ Mini North Oxford Branch last week. Took my car in for an MOT and Full Service. The team were very professional and courteous. I was offered a courtesy car but I declined as I had to work. They have ample space and facilities for customers to work whilst they wait. Afterwards, you receive an email with a video from the technician who looked after your car with a summary of work and any areas of concern/action that needs to be taken. Very helpful. All in all, a reliable and professional service from all the team. Thank you!
Having recently passed my test, this was my first car purchase and I must say that North Oxford BMW made it a delightful experience. The sales associate, Philip Giles in particular was brilliant and helped me with every step of the transaction. Even after I received the car and even now if I have any questions, whether it be how to turn on the window wipers or how to adjust the car mirrors he is very helpful, kind, and understanding in answering any of my queries. My family and I highly recommend North Oxford BMW and Philip Giles to anyone looking to purchase their first car or simply another vehicle. Thank you kindly! Jai
Moving countries can be overwhelming. When you add up buying a new car to the mix, it gets even worse. North Oxford BMW and Theo made my life so much easier. The service at North Oxford BMW completely changed how I see car dealerships and how much care they put into helping their customers. Theo, the salesperson who, with a lot of patience, helped me from the beginning, was extremely nice and attentive throughout the whole process. We engaged in discussions about a new vehicle before I even arrived in the UK and Theo was kind enough to walk me through all the details, gave excellent advice, and really bore with me whilst we had to wait for a few documents on my end. They also worked extremely hard to make sure the would be delivered within a specific deadline and made a great effort to make sure we'd have a deal and I'd walk out of BMW with a brand new car. What is also fantastic is that BMW offers good financing options even for expats who haven't had enough time to build a credit score, which is great! My partner and I didn't have to dig much into our saving to buy a new car and we didn't have to compromise in selecting the car, as financing was available. For anyone who's looking to buy a BMW in Oxfordshire, I strongly recommend North Oxford BMW, their team of experts and salespeople, and Theo, in particular!
Walked in on a Saturday afternoon and didn't expect much as I've had horrible experiences with dealerships in the past. Everyone was attentive when I was walking around, especially Alfie who answered all of my questions without hesitation. Although I am not buying right now, I will definitely be coming back to North Oxford BMW to speak with Alfie in particular.
The fuel flap on my car got jammed this morning. A tiny mechanical problem, but a huge problem for us as we were setting off on holiday. Not being able to charge the car would wreck our holiday plans. I visited North Oxford BMW at 9.00, saw a service engineer, Roger, at 9.03 and he fixed the problem by 9.05. Now we are off on holiday. Brilliant service! Thank you so much.
The usual very polished experience that you'd expect although very much on a budget these days. Machine coffee and no pastries. No obvious area to work for the day other than the regular lounge. Workshop charges a lot as you'd expect, but there are a good number of loan cars. Twice I've had work not finished properly and car left in a dangerous condition after a service hence low rating.
Great service from start to finish. Elektra made the whole process of buying my first new bike in over 35 years of biking easy to manage and as hassle free as you'd hope. The emailed clips of the bike being ready for collection were a nice touch. Handover was comprehensive and everything was explained as much as I needed before heading out to get it covered in mud!
