B&M is a wonderful store with a wide selection, and I always enjoy shopping there. While the floor staff were exceptionally helpful, I found the experience with the cashier at the second till by the exit disappointing. She did not greet us, avoided eye contact throughout, and seemed unwelcoming, which affected my mood, especially as my toddler was trying to interact cheerfully. It's unfortunate that, despite the helpfulness of other staff members, the last encounter left a sour impression. Thankfully, my visit to Starbucks afterward reminded me of what excellent customer service can be.
Great store with a huge range of products on offer. You can find some amazing bargains and products not found anywhere else.nIt's just a shame that some items have no price on them or the shelf and this puts me off from buying as I have no idea if it is affordable or not. That's why it's 4 and not 5 stars. Hopefully they might change and correct this oversight. i have mentioned it on numerous occasions to different staff but nothing fixed since opening.
Great to have this in Epsom, some bargains to be had and things you don’t get elsewhere.nThe downside is it’s a shambles, products located all over the store, price labels missing etc and always huge queues at the tills doesn’t help there’s no way to separate shopping from other customers on the belt like every other shop
Such a chaotic place! It’s a shame as love B&M but every time I have been to this one it is absolutely manic and not an enjoyable shopping experience , it’s so busy with just a few tills open and every visit x4 the emergency door alarm sounds repeatedly , it’s such a stressful environment and seems as though it is for the staff too, our cashier today voided 3 items and had to call assistance each time
B&M&QUEUES…. I wanted to give it a good rating because Epsom needs a discount store after Wilkos and Poundland closed but….. usually only 2 checkouts are open, and regardless of whether only 2 or all are open, be prepared to queue for a long time. It’s got to the stage that I just can’t be bothered to go there because it’s not worth my time, the checkout staff are soooooo sloooooow. Everyone leaves the same review and yet B&M don’t do anything about it.
