just seen this email chain and I've got to agree with Roger. We've bought three cars from BJH and had them serviced there over a 9 year period. Both sides of the business have been exemplary, so much so that when I bought a car from someone else (a main dealer) last year and they messed me about, I went in to see the BJH team and they sorted the problems for me. I will be going back here in future. We started using BJH because my wife's manager at work had been using them for 20 years and he had recommended them. The first two cars we bought, there were others in the showroom at the same time who were also repeat customers. I also found this family run business a pleasure to deal with and unmatched in 35 years of car ownership.

after reading some reviews here I feel I must make my view on BJH Motors. Over 8years I have bought four cars here and never ever had a problem in fact they could not have been more helpful both in the sales pitch and after service including mot, anything I ask was greeted with polite, friendly response. I found this family run business a real pleasure to deal with , its second to none

Bought a mercedes cls from here and i have to warn people to not make the mistake i did the car has left me thousands apon thousands of pounds out of pocket Had problems as soon as i bought it they did not want to help at all terrible after service and dont bother with the warrenty get your own its not worth the paper its written on

The worst car service and customer service I have had in 30 years of owning a car!!! They knew what needed to be repaired because they had done the MOT - the car went in at 9am in the morning and what should have been a 2 - 3 hour job ended up taking 5 - 6 hours. Car wasn't ready as promised by end of day because they didn't start work on it until 2pm when I called to find out what was happening with repair. I had to leave the car in the garage overnight and catch the bus home from town to get home. Car was due to be ready mid-morning today but am still chasing it at 1pm today. And had a massive argument with workshop manager as he couldn't tell me how much the car would cost now it is being fixed. I have never had such a crap experience with car servicing in 30 years. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - WHAT A SHOWER OF IDIOTS!!

I found them affable and knowledgeable. I was looking for a good independant Merc/BMW specialist without paying main dealer rates. Quite happy with BJH and will use them in future
