I'm glad I found this restaurant on Edgware Road. One of the best middle eastern restaurant. Food and prices: Food is really good and prices are so reasonable. I couldn't believe the bill when it arrived. Very good value for money. In addition to main course that you order they provide starters, tea and Irani bread as complimentary items. Staff and Ambiance: The service was also quick and the staff was really nice and helpful. The sitting arrangement is good as well and you can comfortably enjoy your meal. One of the best and recommended place to enjoy Halal food in Central London - much better than so many fancy and overly priced restaurants.
Iraqi-Kurdish cuisine excellent food though it’s little salty. I’m a customer since 2009. It could be very busy and unfortunately they don’t take reservations. The service is excellent and the prices is cheap relative to other restaurants in London. The food in the photos cost about £50 and it’s enough for 4 people!
Great food, great price and I love the complementary tea and sweet after each meal. They are always busy and you have to wait for up to 20mins if you are visiting weekend due to the size of the restaurant. However, if you are in a small group then you might not wait for long.
I’ve been going here for years. It’s incredibly popular in the area and you can see why. When you sit down, you are immediately greeted by friendly waiters and waitresses who give you free lentil soup, hummus, salad, and even bread which is incredibly. I highly recommend the traditional Lamb Khouzi which is the lamb shank along with the Iranian Kebab.
IT WAS SO DELICIOUS. Absolutely great food, great yougurt, very nice staff. You get greeted by some starter food that was fantastic, then staff comes for your order. It was a pleasant surprise some of the staff were or knew romanian. Id come here every time I visit London.
The queue started from outside so we got an idea this was a good restaurant. Waited around 30 minutes and were quickly taken to our seats and without asking provided us complimentary naan bread and sides. This was so fresh and piping hot. Ordered the mix grill amongst other vegetarian dishes and it was so so tasty, authentic Iraqi food. The owner was so friendly and checked up on us himself. Great customer service. You are given tea to wash it all down and aid digestion
I am not that type of person how gives five stars but it deserves five stars. I really enjoyed the food. They give you lentil , hot iraqi bread and different salad pickles, green salad and Hummus and yoghurt as starter. Although the restaurant is small but its organised. I don't think you can book a table in advance. There were a queue but we didn't wait for so long. Definitely will go back again. We ordered Azmar kebab with rice and gouzi served with okra and beans. Finally prices are good and not that costly
Wow let’s talk about the customer service first… wow wow I am so impressed. It was a rush hour on Friday night and there was a long queue outside - it took us 10 mins to get the table and the way they took and served our orders I was so impressed. Come on it could not be any better. The food is delicious as I remembered 4 years ago and you only have to order main the starters and the tea at the end is completely free. I can not recommend this restaurant enough it’s authentic and perfect place to eat and go. You won’t be disappointed. The only drawback was they take cash only bill.
Great portions, and great value for money, it's cheaper than I thought. So, we were 4, ordered 4 main plates with Coke and each of us paid 15 pounds! It's also quick. They serve complementary tea, which is nice. I loved the place, I'll probably come back again!
Honestly best restaurant in the UK. Whenever I go to London, it’s a must for me. Also, the best thing beside the food is they are very generous, they provide free starters with Nan, and when you finish they will serve free tea, sometimes with Baklava. Also, the food portion is great, just as you see, I can’t get enough of it, thanks for everyone keeping that place working.
