A stunning place, the main falls can be seen a short walk from the car park £1.70 per hour.nThe walk is by the road and the path is flat and fairly even up to some picnic benches.nThere are extended walks available to middle and lower falls. Check out the excellent tea room by the bridge at the mill... Fantastic staff and service.
A lovely walk to see the falls, both upper and lower.nYou’re able to walk up the to the water and watch the water flow. Very enjoyable and peaceful.nPlenty of parking, but can get busy. Good pricing for 2hrs parking which is plenty enough to walk all around.nToilets are available and clean. There’s also the visitor center and cafe inside.nnI’d certainly recommend visiting if you’re passing by!
A must visit in Yorkshire dales national park. We loved it. The distance to the view points was relatively short
Wow just amazing being so close to all that water. Obviously there's been rain recently so levels was up. Recommend the longer walk down to lower falls as you can get right down to them. So calming and restful just watching the water. The gelato ice-cream was delicious too. Toilet's, little gift shop and cafe too.
Had an absolutely fabulous day. We arrived just after 10, and the car park at the top of the hill was reasonably quiet. Walking down past the church and over the bridge, we had a great view of the upper falls. Then carried on to the visitors centre which was well set out easy to navigate and the staff were so helpful even offering us free maps. The cafe was welcome after we had walked to all of the falls, the food was fresh and the coffee reasonably priced.
