Regular visitor but went on a guided tour of limited access areas. Incredibly interesting and very knowledgeable guide. Great seeing address not normally seen. Highly recommended.

Good visit for many reasons. Museum nice and compact around the house. Cafe onsite for a cake and cuppa plus gardens nice to stroll around. Parking nearby so all in all a nice visit if you have a few hours spare to appreciate. Small gift shop in the main house for a odd gift or two. Go and enjoy.

Beautiful gardens...play area for children...an aviary and a garden of remembrance. The cafe is really good with free WiFi and they accept cards...always a plus! The hall is very interesting place to walk round and take in some of Spalding's history. Worth a visit any time of year.

Very interesting facts about the house and the fens. Nice gardens too with a small cafe.

A beautiful building of mixed architectural styles that makes the most of its location by the river Welland. The house is lovely, and quite interesting at the rear where its blended pedigree is most obvious, but it is the gardens that are really impressive with undulating, cloud-like topiary and fascinating dark corners containing ice houses and the like.
