I'm not really a big fan of shopping centres but this one is pretty chilled which I like. It's got all the major stores but without the busyness of a big city. And Ayr is a lovely place to visit anyway.

Easy parking, good mix of shops which have mostly pleasant staff except for JD SPORTS, rude,rude rude.
The area is very clean an tidy with a security presence which some may find reasuring.
One Blot ON THE LANDSCAPE is the burger hotdog stand/shack. As a customer in Costa I was sitting outside enjoying a coffee and had time to observe the operator in action for about 1/2 an hour. As a person who was trained and previously worked in Michelin and AA Rosette establishments I know a wee bit about hygiene. This lady served food, handled  and prepared food, handled cash all without washing her hands and the best sneezed over the counter rubbed her nose and "appeared" to eat her bogeys. Give it a miss folks.

Most shops now closed and the place feels pretty dismal. The car parking is OK and the cost is reasonable.

Great choice of shops mostly covered from the elements.  Clean and tidy.

Few empty units but all in all good clean and easy access from car park places to eat and small variety of shops even sheltered so in a bonus
