Had an awesome time at Avon Valley at the weekend. The most welcoming staff. Grace in particular was awesome. Super friendly and helpful. Always checking in on you around the park also. The tent was amazing, 6 bed bell tent, fire pit outside, log burner heated jacuzzi, electricity. Shared toilets and showers which were very modern and super clean. The park itself was amazing too. Loads of animals and so many activities. One section was unfinished but that didn't stop or family from having the best time. Thank you Avon Valley. Only thing I would improve on is to offer memberships. Thank you
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We hadnt been to Avon Valley for years but seeing your Christmas experience advertised, I had to book it. My eldest was 11 today, and we don’t know if we will get another year of him truly believing in the magic as such. So we wanted to make it special, and the help of your staff, they made it that. Upon arrival, my eldest told the staff it was his birthday with excitement. They told him to tell all the elves and Santa. Everyone wished him a happy birthday. We had an amazing burger at lunch time in your burger restaurant and later in the evening had food over in the ice rink cafe. The food was absolutely lovely and I told the staff how lovely it was. But what really topped the day off was I told the staff it was my sons birthday when ordering his desert and they wrote happy birthday in his take away box and put some extra toppings on for him and they came over and sung to him. Honestly it finished off a beyond perfect day. Well that was until we went back to the Christmas at night and the lights were beautiful. Both his middle brother and him said, it was the best day ever. The only thing I’d wish for the park, is that maybe rides and more adventure things could be added, even more animals to draw more custom. And I remember saying the same when we visited 7 years ago. You have so much space and potential there. It’s an outstanding park with clearly very caring staff, excellent food, brilliant soft play and outdoor play area, I’d just love to see more there. The funfair tonight was great. The lights were fantastic. Certainly book again. The gifts from Santa were also lovely. And the shows were an excellent touch. We haven’t stopped smiling all day. Thank you to everyone.
We recently visited Avon Valley Park's Christmas Nights Light trail and had a great time. We came from Cardiff and hadn't been before and were really impressed with the light show and special effects. The dinosaurs looked very snug and warm wearing scarves and Christmas jumpers. We especially enjoyed the train ride where a very enthusiastic elf gave us an 'elf and safety' talk before accompanying us on the ride, making it a fun experience for everyone. All of the elves were very friendly and we had a great evening, thoroughly recommended!
We had a great time visiting the Christmas light trail. The lights were amazing, there was interactive activities along the way which made it very fun for the children. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The funfair at the end was great too. The only thing I would say is needed more signage around the park and more food vans.
Review for Pumpkin Patch evening. Much better entertainment wise than 2021. We preferred the new layout, was much easier to move around and see where to go. Loved the pizza place, really well done food. Very happy to find toffee apples too! The mini games were fun, never thought slingshotting mini pumpkins would be so fun! We had no kids in our party but we’re impressed with what was available for that age group. Bumper cars looked really fun! Have to say, the pumpkin lantern tunnel and decorations this year were brilliant. Lots of photo opportunities! The costumed actors joined in with us quite a bit, which was really funny. There were places to sit by the photo areas but would have liked more within the pumpkin field. This has now become a tradition for us and we will be coming back next year
Good animal park for children where they can touch and feed some of them. Less animals compared to when we visited a few years ago. Visitors could paddle small boats in the little lake but that is no longer there. Few animatronic dinosaurs where there used to be animals. Children could drive a small electric jeep around a track where dinosaurs were setup. Miniature railway was fun. There were lots of hand washing facilities placed around the farm since children could touch animals. Talks were given about the animals. Loads of picnic tables around the farm. Good play area. Toilet facilities were good. Getting to the farm was a bit tricky since there was a road closure. Tickets were expensive compared to Bristol zoo.
I absolutely loved this day out, As a massive dinosaur fan, I think j enjoyed it more than my eight year old son. I was so excited by all the dinosaurs we saw. There was so many shows that were really cool. I was a bit taken aback by the price when booking it, but after the amazing day we had, it was well worth it!
Great place for all ages, all the activities are free, this was great as the Grandchildren kept going on the rides. My only moan would be the price of the food for the quality and quantity that you get. Would recommend taking a picnic. But it was a fantastic day, with brilliant staff, who are so happy to help and full of information.
Visited for Fear Festival at Avon Valley. This was our second visit. We purchased the RIP Pass for £80 which gave us complimentary drinks and snacks and unlimited fast track. That was great. It's a hard surface with only a few muddy patches, the actors were spooky and and very good. They really did scare is! The new exorcism attraction was good with brilliant acting.
This is an absolute gem of a place. We have loved it so much. Cannot wait to come back. After the wildlife park etc closes to the public, campers can stay and play as long as you like. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, especially if you have active kids
