What a nightmare, made a claim that wasn't my fault, the other party even offered to pay but the damage too great, been like 4 months haven't heard anything from them, not responding through email and telephone always try again later or instantly hangs up.
Worst Insurance company ever they are quick to take your money but to deal with anything else they don't want to know you very hard to get hold of I spent 1 hour plus on hold to speak to someone they don't reply to emails. My renewal was due and some info was wrong I requested a call back to discuss but apparently a company like there's don't do call back instead I have to sit on hold for hours on end. Take your insurance else where.
Still good prices though prices increased
Very helpful and reliable . I had an issue with the previous insurance company avoiding to update my home address , getting in touch with Aviva was the right decision I have made. I had no issue with anything basically compared to the previous one I had lots. I have explained the situation and they just gave me an excellent advice for the next steps and everything happened in 5 minutes time. Checking documents Confirmation Payment Job done I believe everything else will go smoothly as the first steps. The only one thing is , you can't get a prove of no claim bonus ‍ Best wishes Petya Vasileva

Another rip off merchant! I've had a year of multivariate insurance with Aviva. It's been fine, easy to make changes although they like to charge you £20 for each change you make over the phone - like moving house or job. I haven't crashed so I don't know how they perform for claims. I was shocked though when I got my renewal notice - it had gone up by several hundred pounds. Bear in mind here - same address, job, car, parking situation but more no claims bonus. We have NO claims, NO points if anything it shod be cheaper. And it was!! With Admiral! £350 cheaper - more than 25% So I rang Aviva - convinced theyd made a mistake but was rudely told that was the best price and I could take it or leave it. I tried to ask why it had gone up but was talked over rudely by their staff who wouldn't even look at it. I think they're hoping to trick people into auto renewing which if you're older or struggle with internet access you may do. That should be a crime really. Anyway for these reasons I won't use Aviva again and I'll advise everyone I speak to not to either. And if anyone is considering renewing - shop around! Even comparison sites will beat it in under 5 mins!
A driver insured through Aviva damaged my wife's car two months ago Stacey Dent KM10 ACF and dispite the driver admitting fault, the car has yet to be repaired as Aviva are deliberately delaying paying out presumably in the hope we'll just arrange repair ourselves. For this reason I will never insure any of my vehicles through Aviva.
One of the worst experience I have ever had trying to get in touch with them. So I left them
