Located in the heart of Mayfair, Avista brings a little touch of Italy to Mayfair with spectacular dishes. Serving up a modern Italian style Avista's menus regularly change to take advantage of the freshest seasonal produce.

Story

Located in the heart of Mayfair and featuring its own private entrance at 39 Grosvenor Square, Avista is a 75 seat restaurant, with a separate bar for up to 25, and a private dining room for 8, designed by David d'Almada, designer of several prominent restaurants in London.

Avista also boasts its own bar and a long wooden Chef's table suitable for larger parties up to 12 people.
In the main part of the restaurant is a granite-topped work station where chefs prepare the final touches to their dishes.

Avista's secluded private dining room which seats 8, has its own street entrance and sliding doors for complete privacy.

The menu is diverse combining a variety of both rustic and contemporary Italian dishes. The wine list also deserves a mention for its large selection of fine wines, predominantly from Italy.

Avista Bar is fast becoming famous for its extensive selection of cocktails. Cosy and inviting Avista Bar is the place to be seen.

This Mayfair Bar is trendy without being imposing.
Large abstract paintings, selective seating at the bar and subdued lighting, creates a cool ambience perfect to start or finish enjoying a night out in Mayfair.

Tucked away in the corner of a commercial building, Avesta is a middle eastern eatery with options from pizza to shawarma plates to choose from. Although the restaurant has parking in front, it does tend to get full quickly! My friends and I ordered kebab plates and were pleasantly impressed with the taste and portion sizes of our dishes! Wish they added a little more garlic sauce, however! The staff were friendly and the atmosphere nice!

We were trying to find a Mediterranean/Arabic restaurant to make our usual dining place, as we used to have in the UK and came across this place which was completely empty when we arrived mid day, mid week.  Nargis hoping I am spelling her name correctly was not only very friendly but delivered the food first to us, as a guy who arrived later chose to go straight to the cashier to order the food, rather than order from the table as we did: how rude!!!!  We liked the place was empty, however it was a bit cold, no wonder the pitta bread was cold in seconds too: perhaps covering it to keep it warm, as many restaurants do, would have been more thoughtful.  Also no salt and pepper on the table, so we had to ask for just about everything.  The food can be ordered only via the app listed under Canva you have to download and although Nargis offered to use her phone, we managed to download the app and order the amazing kebabs together with rice and salad.  Everything was perfect, Nargis was thoughtful, we just wish the owner would have thought about the above points raised here to make her work easier.  Because most surely we will be back.

This one definitely deserves more than 5 stars   went there with my brother today and we LOVED it. Food is delicious, fresh and great portion sizes. Freshly baked naan is soooo good. Above ALL... their service.... wow! Speechless... you're not treated as a customer, they don't even treat you as guests, you are treated as family!!! The hospitality of the people who work here is out of this world and definitely the reason to go back. Emad and Zhian sorry if I'm misspelling the name ژیان are kind, they care about their customer and want to make sure you're happy. We ordered kabab and lamb shank, both were well made and delicious. Definitely going back to try their pizza and shawarma. Thanks Avesta for an outstanding experience.  Vegetarian options: Falafel, salad, pizzas  Parking: Parking is tight. Lots other businesses in the same plaza but not enough parking.

Ordered the chicken shawarma plate as well as a Kebab and cream pizza. Both are great. Chicken is tender and rice is flavourful. Pizza dough is great and toppings are very tasteful with great quality of cheese. Had an espresso as well which was fantastic and did not expect it to be that good. Overall would recommend to anyone wanting to try a nice restaurant with great tasting food

We enjoyed a fabulous dinner here last night at this authentic Kurdish restaurant. The atmosphere is inviting, the service is friendly and efficient, and the food is outstanding! They have a fire oven and although we did not have one of their MANY pizzas, the ones coming out of the kitchen looked AMAZING!!!! next time! Check out their menu.  We started with the hummus, which was seasoned perfectly with lemon and olive oil. It came with THE best hot bread made in the fire oven, and was a good size for sharing there were 2 of us, but it could easily be shared with up to 4, depending on your appetite and especially if you were ordering other apps.  For our main entrée, we both got the Grilled Chicken Tikka plate. OMG was it good! There was a choice of base rice, salad, fries, naan, savar, choice of sauces garlic paste, hot sauce, pom sauce, etc, and a huge selection of sides fattoush, hummus, roasted veggies, etc  My husband and I both ordered the same he's been there before and knew that we both wanted to eat relatively healthy items. The plates were large, and included lots of juicy, delicious, marinated cubes of tender chicken breast, HUGE portion of tabboulleh, and a HUGE portion of the Kurdish Farmer's Salad, which was a cucumber, tomato, onion salad. Everything was fresh, delicious, and fit into my healthy eating lifestyle!  For dessert, my husband ordered the Mediterranean Ice Cream, which was unknown to us and incredible! It is much different from North American ice cream. It was flavoured with pistachios, sweet, and stretchy - think marshmallows but not quite as fluffy and chilled. We were also served their lovely tea, which is a black tea with I think a touch of cinnamon - a nice way to finish the meal.  This restaurant is Halal, has shisha no overwhelming smells, although I did once get a whiff of a lovely scent, which our server said was watermelon. It smelled amazing! The place has nice decor, with several tables, not too brightly lit we were there in the evening and cushy bench seating, as well as a cute little semi-private cushioned open-concept area past the "bar" area, which looked like a cosy place to hang out with friends.  One of the owners came out twice to ask us about how we were enjoying our meal and was very friendly. We love visiting restaurants like this and appreciate immigrants sharing their cuisine here in Canada. Definitely will be going back here! Check it our for yourself! Great value too, as our bill for all of this was less than $65!

Avesta Restaurant located in Hamilton is an authentic Middle Eastern Restaurant, serving one of the best Stone-Baked Pizzas. They have wide range of variety in their menu covering everything from chicken to beef. The taste is definitely delicious. The interior of the restaurant is also pretty nice and very vibrant. Totally loved the small detailing in the restaurant. It’s a must try for all the Turkish and Middle Eastern food lovers.

When I visited Avesta Pizza and Grill, I was blown away by the delicious food and excellent service. The pizza brick oven was tasty and cooked to perfection, and the shawarma plate was so good that I couldn't stop eating. The place was so authentic, the staff was friendly and attentive, making my visit even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend Avesta Pizza and Grill for anyone looking for great food and service.

Dined in with a friend for dinner and we both enjoyed the service, atmosphere and the dinner.  The lamb shank was soft and tender, the kebab were delicious. Not a big fan of the rice though would try the naan next time for base instead. Along with their pizza’s.  For dessert we had kannafeh can’t go wrong with this one and the tea was served on the house! Great hospitality! and that tea was amazing!  Parking: Busy plaza, parking can be an issue, unless there is additional parking in the back.

The best food we have eaten since coming to Canada! The armosphere was very authentic, the food was delicious! Shawarma pizza was the best pizza we ate in town and the quality of black tea leaves  Did not expect to have such an amazing experience and will definitely come back and recommend this place to EVERYONE!Food: 5/5

Better than I expected. From the outside it looked like small restaurant but walking inside you come into this beautifully decorated and large space. The experience at this restaurant was amazing along with the staff but what’s even better is the food. Their portion sizes are insane. We ordered their Pizza feast for one and and it’s more than enough for 2 people. The Kabab pizza was amazing along with the Garlic naan & Wings. To top it all off, they even serve shisha here. If this isn’t the perfect place to hangout with family & friends then I don’t know what it is. I highly recommended anyone in the area or even outside of Hamilton to visit this place.
