I understand that my phone call for a taxi was late. At 1:30 AM one expects that it may not be possible to book at such a late hour. The gentleman though answered the phone and promised to arrive within thirty minutes. Thirty minutes passed, then an hour. I attempted to call but nobody picked up. I guess he got a better job as we were left hanging and our guests looked like they may have to sleep on our uncomfortable sofa's. Luckily Travel Guardians picked up the slack and took our guests home. No stars for you AVACAB , shame on you for being a huge steaming pile of cow excrement. Thank you, Travel Guardians for being to hero's and saving the day

this guy is mentally very slow! Rather than spend an hour explaining what I needed and the directions!!! (Thought taxi driver could work that out) I booked through another taxi firm!! Jesus I know I'm in the country but didn't realise there were such carrot crunchers around. Get more sense from the cows in the field opposite.

Managed to flag one down at the Wells bus station for a lift to Wookey- friendly driver, clean and comfortable vehicle and reasonable rates- recommended from me!
