I rang the day before to organise a taxi for the following morning to arrive at 7:15 the taxi did not arrive I then rang the taxi company up and was told even know I had organised a taxi the day before I should’ve been told that there was no guarantees the taxi would turn up in the morningAs they were very busy in the morning. I asked to speak to a manager and was told there was nobody available I subsequently had to jump in my car and drive to the train station myself only just making the train to London

Everyone I spoke to tried to get me to put my kids In without carseats. I rang to book a taxi for myself and 3 children and wanted to bring my own carseats (it is for my own peace of mind I know it is legal in a taxi not to use a carseat) I asked the driver if I could book his taxi (vw caddy) for the trip back as I could fit the 3 carseats in a row on the back seat (he told me it is illigal to put a carseat in the front of a taxi and my carseats dont fit in a row in a standard car) I rang the office for the trip back and asked for this taxi they said he was busy but could send a minibus. When the taxi arrived it was a standard car ... the driver said he could fit 3 seats in the back ... there was no way my (quite big) seats were going in the back luckily my friend was there and was able to take one of my children in her car if she wasnt I would have had to wait for another taxi. No appoligy from the driver or explanation why I didnt get the minibus. Everyone I spoke to was clearly irritated by me bringing the seats bit considering I was paying for a service I feel that it was my choice.

Booked avacab before Christmas for the 27th December even reminded them of booking & address but went to a completely different address. Also was quoted a price for car & 8 seater but charged double for both the taxis barely went above 15 mph the all journey shocking service.

Their new drivers don’t have a clue where they are going and even communicate with us. Don’t feel safe. Cross eyed as well don’t know how he’s got a license it’s not safe. His driving was horrendous and Real scared the life out of me. Stay away people if u want a safe taxi.

Great service, fantastic drivers and are very friendly. I use Avacab weekly and I've never been let down, thank you for excellent service and kept up the good work.
