I had a lovely experience at Ava Rose Hamilton Colne yesterday and found my dream dress with Bernie. A huge thank you for calming my nerves and making me feel so special. Any questions were welcomed and answered with ease, Bernie was absolutely fantastic.nnThe private dressing room was stunning with so many thoughtful extra touches that add to the experience for both brides and guests.nnWould 100% recommend to any bride! x
I started following Ava Rose on instagram as soon as I realised they were on Say Yes to Dress & although they are an hour and half away from where I live they were the only bridal shop I noticed that showed their dresses on all different shapes and sizes. Being plus size - inclusivity was very important to me.nFrom the moment we arrived it was a dream,nwe had a few minutes to look around all of the dresses before being taken up into one of the suites.nI was absolutely made up to find out Bernie was my stylist, from the moment I met her I knew we would get on so well.nBernie then took me around and we chose a few dresses I liked the look of.nMy bridal party all got looked after too… prosecco & even shots.nI tried on around 6/7 dresses and I found the ONE!nBernie knew exactly the vibe & the image I had with me being an abroad wedding.nThe whole place is absolutely stunning and you feel so so special being in your own suite which is huge & standing on the platform to reveal your dresses to your bridal party.nand at the end i did SAY YES TO THE DRESS!nAll the girls are so so lovely and make you feel so welcome the whole time you are there.nBernie spoke to me about the sizing and the ordering process - everything was just so easy.nMy dress has been ordered and I literally cannot wait to go back early next year to put the dress back on & also to see Bernie too!nThank you so so so much Ava Rose for helping me choose my dream dress xxx
I went to Ava Rose bridal dress shopping last weekend with my mum, sister, two bridesmaids and my 10months old son. The whole experience was amazing and they made it enjoyable for each and every one of us, and made sure all my bridal party was included all the way through. I was worried about taking my son and him being fussy but they were really accommodating of him being there too.nnMy assistant was Zoe and honestly she made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I wasn’t sure at all what I wanted, and she made it really simple to find the style and shape I liked, and took onboard what I didn’t want. I didn’t feel rushed or like I was being a faff or a pain. I wasn’t sure I would find a dress on trip one, but because she listened to my feedback in each dress she was able to understand from me what I did want and I left with my dream dress!!! I am actually a bit gutted she did her job so well and did in fact find my dress so fast as I was rather enjoying the whole experience nnIt was a bit of a trek out for us all but I would 100% do it again and again as I can’t fault any of the process, shop or service! They really do have it all and I’m so excited to go back and do my accessories and see my dress when she is back from the designer!
Honestly one of the best experiences ever. If you can't find your perfect wedding dress here, there is something wrong with you! Bernie looked after us so well, chosing dresses to suit my daughter's style perfectly. We were spoiled for choice. Nothing was too much trouble. I can't thank her enough for her time and effort.
Ava Rose Hamilton and my consultant Bernie were incredible from the moment we set foot in the shop. Their relaxed, friendly approach made me feel at ease while browsing, and Bernie's technical advice, suggestions, and input were all very helpful. Plus the shop is stunning, and there are SO MANY dresses to choose from; every style, shape, and size is very well catered-to. Getting my dress here was an amazing experience!
