Brilliant service by the team at Autotest as always, only place in Witham that I will go for an MOT
I was en route to a couple of days away, then I started hearing a loud scrapping noise under the car, up oh what can I do? Google garages nearby, I called them up, they said drop in and we’ll take a look. It turned out to be the exhaust heat shield, fixings had rotted. They fixed it up for me - no charge! Just a donation to their tea and biscuit fund. How very kind - thank you so much for ‘rescuing’ me
Friendly place but I repeatedly asked the price prior to coming and confirmed it as including vat. I then end paying plus vat and also paying more than the original price even though one part was not changed. This has happened before a few years ago at another garage and I vowed to just vote with my feet which I will do again this time. I am giving two purely because they were on time, helpful but I am still not content with repeatedly confirming and then turning up and being told different.
Did my clutch a year ago, had issues with it ever since, complained a few times but no help, ended up paying somebody else to do it, works out auto test put in the wrong parts hence clutch going so quick, aswel as the cap being left off the clutch and brake fluid reservoir creating air in the system aswel, not impressed with the work done or the treatment after
I have used these guys for the past few years and have found them nothing but friendly, approachable and reasonable. They understand that I am a business owner and they always get me back on the road as quickly as they can. As always, I will return.
Great prices, all very friendly and the only garage I would take my car to in Essex.
