A fantastic hardware store, that really does stock pretty much everything you could need for the home. The staff are fabulous - Sarah, Rob, John & Tony to name but a few - and they're always on hand to assist with queries & questions. But that aside, they also sell a good variety of plants outside the front of the shop all year round. At the moment they're selling winter & early spring variety plants I spent way too much money on some a few days ago & actually they ain't badly priced either! So for the home & the garden, my advice would be go to Austens first
nothing is to much of a problem for this place always helpful always polite and happy to help. being disabled and living on the main high street a member of staff very kindly helped me with an item or two back to my property absolutely fantastic
Good local hardware store, seems to have everything you could possibly need, all tucked away inside. Friendly staff always happy to help or give advice. For the most part, I'd say, goods are cheaper than expected, in line with larger chain stores, sometimes cheaper
Amazing staff and stock. It always has what you want and is an Aladdin’s cave.
Lovely staff, asked for help as to where to find a product, as first in the queue outside was straight in, shown the way to find the product by member of staff, social distancing and paid and out the door, clear signs of one way routes around shop. Keep up your excellent customer servicr
Visited Friday 12th October, excellent range of supplies, we found everything on our list. Long may shops such as this continue to flourish.
So handy to have this shop in the village. Always have what I need and the staff are very helpful and welcoming.
Great for finding things not widely available elsewhere as well as great prices for others a hidden treasure
