Fantastic local shop with a well deserved reputation. They will look after your precious items, make suitable repairs at reasonable prices and hold a good stock of other things to catch your eye for gifts etc. a proper working jewellers. Hard to find these days. We should support these local stores and skills.
Unfortunately we did not have good experience here. My mum who is 86 took her wedding ring and her engagement in to be made bigger as she had a fall and had to have her rings cut off at the hospital. They charged over £300 for this. It was quite a substantial amount although I do appreciate the price of gold has rocketed. However as her hands healed she realised they were too big so then had them reduced. When she collected them they would not return the gold removed even though she had paid for it I don’t know if this is common practise or they just saw an opportunity because my mum was on her own and elderly. Either way it doesn’t sit well and I chalk it down to theft of something she owned. Anyway can’t do anything about it now but won’t be using them again as we don’t trust them. Just be careful there are a lot of “grifters” out there.
Aura Jewellery is the place to go for precious jewelry, First time I went, i have found my engagement ring and second time was to make custom wedding bands, which turned out perfect picture attached. They have their own shop and can do things locally. The jeweler and the lady I assume the assistant were extremely friendly and attentive and understood exactly what we wanted. I am extremely pleased with the end result. Not to mention the prices, we paid half of what you would pay for wedding bands if you had to get them already made from a shop. Strongly recommend.
I lost one of my favourite earrings and they made me a new one. Can you spot the difference? I can't. Apparently made up them. Would definitely recommend
Absolutely fantastic service! Aura came well recommended so took my engagement ring to be resized, less than 24 hours later I had it back and it fit perfectly for a very reasonable cost! Really professional and caring staff. Would highly recommend!

After buying a pair of earrings here it was a wonderful experience. I had personal help and was asked personal questions to suit my style best. I love my little pearl earrings bought however a pearl did fall out of them. May have been a manufacturing issue from this I returned the earrings and the staff apologised many times and I got posted! My new set of earrings with a spare for no extra cost! Amazing customer service. I will be returning. Thankyou
Great service from all the staff here , it's a real hidden gem of a place and we'll worth a visit . They offer lovely bespoke pieces and repairs too . Also gifts for men and women , I have had many pieces from them now and it has all been really good quality .
