Food was fantastic. Excellent value for money. Great portion sizes. Lovely staff & good service. We will definitely be back because there are lots of other dishes we would like to try.
We recently had a Christmas night out here for 6 adults. It was a 3 course dinner for £26.95. Well worth the money with generous portions of piping hot food and a good choice of menu. All served quickly and efficiantly by the waiting staff. Will definately be back again.

We had my mother's wake here on Monday 16th Jan the buffet was meant to be for 35 people at £9.95 a head, there was barely enough food for 20 people. Quite a few of the sandwiches were at best dry, at worst, the bread was hard. I had to keep apologising to people because I was totally mortified at the lack of quality and quantity of the buffet Update: what we took home with us was cocktail sausages as that was the only thing there was an abundance of. I'd like to know how you justify charging almost £350for 2 plates of sandwiches 1 plate of sausage rolls and one plate of cocktail sausages
The food was delicious big portions and the atmosphere was really lovely. We had great service. There is a great kids menu
Had a meal yesterday and was disappointed in the quality esp for the price . Chicken goujons didn’t look as if they had been even cooked .I had gammon which was so tough and chewy I couldn’t eat . Also it was a bit of ham ,chips and a bit of lettuce and half a tomato for £17 . We have never had a bad meal before and that’s why we chose the auld house as you can always be sure of a good meal but unfortunately wasn’t up to the standard at all yeasterday
Excellent service, good quality food, a great Sunday lunch, would have been 5 star review but the room was cold needed radiators on, but will be back with a jumper lol
Ordered Christmas dinner for 3 people for the first time this year it was amazing portion size and flavor everything was amazing will be ordering it again next year thank you
Brilliant bar/restaurant. Very accommodating, excellent staff and customer service, lovely food and drink.
Been into The Auld House a few times, since moving to the area. Good is top notch and fresh. Well priced also. Can’t wait to get back for a sizzler.
