Had a lovely night celebrating my nephew and his partners engagement party the staff were lovely and friendly. The only thing that stopped me giving a 5 star rating was the DJ that was doing the music on Friday night wasn't that good putting a song on the not even half way through it changing it and putting loch lomond on half way through the night also you couldn't make out a word that he was trying to say over the mic because he was hoars and loosing his voice .
Beers are champion. Atmosphere friendly
For a party it has sufficient space. Disabled access. Kitchen facilities for heating food. Toilets need maintenance and no parking available except on street. Used in past for multiple parties but refused to take us for baby shower due to lack of numbers 'not worth their time' so slightly disappointed. Would have thought 40 customers were better than zero.
Don't normally drink in pubs as I.m not that much of a drinker only parties and a couple over Xmas and new year.. this occasion was a 40th birthday party held in the function room... had a brill night but that's a different review I can only review the auld hoose for what I experience the function room was of a reasonable size room which has a bar. dance floor and stage which i suppose hold 100+ people.. bar staff friendly drinks wee just normal prices for pubs I suppose £4-50 for Jack Daniels and coke.. would in hold a party in there yeah I suppose

Great pub, friendly staff and a good selection of drinks. Entertainment system is top notch!
Great pub to watch live sports can be very busy at big football games,friendly and very helpful bar staff,good atmosphere and never any animosity
Good prices ,clean and tidy .Only fault was the lounge had too many seats in it ,making access difficult for toilets etc
The cadzow suite is a good location for any celebration. Space for 100 plus with a pleasant and efficient staff.
