Update on review:nThe receptionist i saw at my appointment was brilliant, consulted the doctor even though there was an error on the phone call earlier with the doctor when i requested auckland clinic and they gave me another location but didnt tell me.. it was booked for another gp? Saw the doctor... id give 5 stars but the doctor i saw was diffrerent than the one on the consultant form... realistically he shouldnt be asking me questions that i have to answer again after my consultant form.. i shouldn't have to weigh myself for my bmi and also i only got examined temperature through my ear and my HR through my finger. The correct procedure for this incident would be 1 HR test 2 Blood pessure via arm strap. 3 memory test 4 ask questions on fatigue, headaches and also he didnt ask about the activities 1-2 days before the incidentnLazy doctor
Before and after Covid, the Doctors and staff of Watling Rd, Toft Hill & West Auckland. Have been courteous, efficient and caring. They took time to listen and care. Proofing to me that you are not just a statistic, but a person.
Moved to Auckland Medical Group last summer and so pleased that I did. Reception staff are always friendly and helpful, if they can't answer my query straight away they always find the information and get back in touch. I've never had a problem getting an appointment, sometimes it's a phone appointment and that's all I.need but have also never had a problem getting face to face appointments if that's what I need.nI order my prescription on line and they are always ready promptly.nSo thank you Auckland Medical Group, great staff great service.
I have been Registered with this surgery for Since I was 11-12 I’m now 25. Overall I’d say the staff are pleasant and friendly however, if you would like an appointment to see someone then you must ring at exactly 8am but 9/10 out of ten the line is engaged and you are unable to get through. If you are lucky enough to get through, there is absolutely no thought give to if the person on the other end of the line is vulnerable. Both my self and fiancé have struggled massively with our mental health over the pandemic and there has been little support from are gp other than to put us on some medication and ask us what we want to do with it? I’m sorry but you guys are meant to be the professionals the experts I’m a landscaper? what do I know about taking medication? I have also had a reoccurring issue with my stomach that I’ve been living with since the age of 12-13 and I’m at my wits end trying to get the Doctors to figure it out but the is little to no interest. I genuinely appreciate that the GP surgeries up and down the country have been pressed to the limit with the current climate. This however does not excuse the flaws in customer care and consideration. The booking system that the trust uses is a one of chaos and works on a first come first serve basis. Which has left the GP surgery’s in and around the Bishop Auckland area seeming uncaring and cold.
This surgery is a Joke, Practice Manager couldn't run a bath and the staff well they can get not be good as their managers.nnDue to their incompetence and lack of care and fobbing off that you are not allowed a face to face appointment I have had no option but to take matters further. GPs taking P*** because of covid doing as little and as they refuse to see you diagnose you over phone, give you medication that is pointless and only way you get medical help is via A&E
