Managed to squeeze us in and so glad they did as got to try amazing food. Had the mackerel and potted shrimp starters and loved them as had gorgeous toast to pop them all over. Absolutely wonderful. The staff are so friendly and the food is amazing. I had the vegan tagine and it was delicious and so flavourful. The staff were attentive to people who needed cutlery or napkins. A great atmosphere. A very unassuming building and simply but pretty decor. 5/5, would definitely be back. Amazing lunch. Walked there from Bude and got a table straight away. Really friendly and helpful staff even though they where short staffed! Food was outstanding, we both had the steak sandwich and it was perfect! Great location as you can see the sea from there.Service: 5/5

Gorgeous location and pub. We were a table of 7. The service from Becky was incredible and nothing was too much trouble. We arrived early and had drink and watched the sunset. Would highly recommend again and the food was just amazing. Clear plates all round.Service: 5/5

Booked a table for dinner and had the most glorious views of the sunset ever. Food was great and service excellent and really friendly. Watch out for the car park outside if you're used to using apps to pay- its cash only. We just about scraped together enough change to cover it but so glad we did.

We are staying in Crackington Haven and walked down to the beach with our dog. Had a roast dinner on a Sunday which was delicious. Very good quality food and generous portions. Dog friendly and very attentive staff.Service: 5/5

Wow. What an excellent experience here. A Wednesday evening in January and it still busy and had a great menu. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the service was excellent. Highly recommend.

This Is How A Pub Should Be! Dec 2022 • Family During our lovely week in Bude over Christmas, we came into this pub twice. Once for lunch - and because we enjoyed lunch so much - we then came back for supper! Lunch was perfect, and so was supper. The food is absolutely amazing! An outstanding menu and specials board. Incredibly reasonably priced !! would say the best food we've ever had in a pub. Also an excellent selection of drinks to choose from. The service is faultless and very quick, and yet the food is to a very very high standard with irresistible presentation. It's a very welcoming and warm place with an exceptionally lovely team of staff. Smiley and friendly and welcoming. We had lunch on Boxing Day with the dreamiest view of stunning crackington beach 26th December 2022 and we had supper by the very lovely log fire on 28th December 2022. Both times we didn't book, but were accommodated very quickly by the friendliest staff and although it was busy we were able to choose where to sit which we really appreciated. I really could go on and on but basically this pub is absolutely PERFECT! So many pub owners could do with experiencing this place and learning a thing or two about how it should be done!! We really had a wonderful Christmas in Bude, thanks partly to the experience of this brilliant establishment. Thank you Coombe Barton Inn !! We shall be back !!

It may be the only pub it’s a good ‘un. We had some good local beers and ciders then some great pub food. Fresh mackerel was a highlight. Some of the outside tables have a beach view for great sundowner vibes.Service: 5/5
