Room was lovely and clean. Staff were super friendly. My brother had lost his room key and they sorted the issue without a fuss. Breakfast buffet was good. Choice of everything. Cooked, continental and cereal.. pancakes etc. juice , tea and coffee available. The only issue was that after the 1st night I noticed that our peephole on the door was broken. Looking in from the corridor you could see straight into the room which was very unnerving. So hopefully they get that fixed.
All good here. Arrived super late and receptionist was outside having a quick break. As soon as they saw me they ran back in and checked me in. The room was big and spacious. Strange having the sink separate to the shower and bathroom but I didn't mind that really. Breakfast is always plentiful even if a bit in the cheap side. But if you don't like it then you need to get over yourself and expect an unlimited breakfast with all the cooked stuff, pastries, Cereals, yoghurts and Costa coffee for £9.50 isn't going to be worthy of a Michelin star but its certainly worth stuffing your face with!
This hotel is set in very good location just 2/5 minutes away from the famous gardens and a really good quality single floor shopping village. Staff when booking in are very friendly with a nice coffee seating area and bar with a restaurant/breakfast area. Our disabled room was as we expected and was very spacious and clean . I would highly recommend this hotel if visiting the gardens and need a overnight stay or on route to your holiday destination as we are .
Great location, room strangely arranged with hand basin not in the shower/toilet room. The paintwork and finish in the shower room was diabolical my 11 yr old could have done a better job. The bed really comfortable and room nicely warm. Nearby activities: Trentham Gardens are wonderful, the shopping village is wonderful. Noteworthy details: Cafe staff at waterfall end of Trentham Gardens is great with really nice friendly staff. Glazed Arts, shop is truly fantastic with the owner knowledgeable of his various types of art and artists, all local.
Arrived late. Food service had just finished. And 2 restaurants beside the hotel had stopped serving. So that was a bummer as we had to order a pizza in. Ice machine also broken and I hate drinks with no ice. However. Sometimes things happen and its no fault of the staff or hotel. Rooms great, clean very comfortable and very enjoyable. Staff were very very nice All good...
We stayed here the same weekend that me, my husband and toddler visited Alton Towers. Lovely room and breakfast service in the morning. Nice and clean throughout. Friendly staff were on hand with any questions that we had. Plenty of parking and has a cot service for babies and toddlers.
Have stayed here many times before and loved it. Rooms extremely clean and staff friendly Unfortunately on this visit there seemed to be a lot of people complaining which is unusual. I had booked 2 rooms at the same time but for some reason we were given rooms on the opposite sides of the floor. We found our room to be very cold. Fortunately there was a stand alone heater in the room to use. We also found out too late that we only had 1 bath towel
Stayed here for 1 night and noticed the card says ‘rest easy’ very ironic considering the we did everything but… the bed was so I comfy we was up every hour praying it was time to leave. There’s no sound proofing and could here a pin drop. And the noise coming from the slamming doors was unbelievable all throughout the night!! Would not recommend staying here unless you want tremendous back pain!
staff are lovely but no common sense. 3 weeks of NO ICE served in the bar and none of them thought of buying ice from the shop to keep good service for customers. I have actually suggested but none of them took any notice they thought it's funny but I'm being sarcastic when I keep asking for ice everyday. the food is freshly cooked but tasteless, not even a taste of salt and pepper on my steak. no plug socket near the bed I have to bring my own extension lead so I can do my reports in bed. the shower bench is a disaster waiting to happen as it is very slippery. I slipped and got lucky not to have broken my neck otherwise nobody would have discovered I'm dead until they smell my rotting corpse as no daily room cleaning you have to ask for it. you have to ask for towel replacements as well. I stay there Mon to Fri. not my choice as my company books our accommodation. I tried to look for a direct contact email to people in charge in your website but can't find one so here are my concerns. location is excellent though Trentham Gardens is beautiful!
Great location for Trentham Village and gardens. Room was ok,overlooked the bin area and found the sink in the room rather than bathroom a bit strange but was aware of that even booking. Shame there isn't anywhere to sit outdoors as it was a lovely weekend and we would have made use of the bar in the evening if this had been the case. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Would stay again.
