Having finally managed to arrange a family reunion for members we spent a wonderful few hours here. They coped amazingly well with ages 8 weeks to over 80. Nothing seemed too much trouble, even 2 extra people turning up 15 minutes before we sat down to eat. Thank you so much to the super-helpful team for a fabulous timeService: 5/5
Been trying to find an good vibe pub not full off toffs and we found this one today landlord greeted us as we came in which was a nice touch . Food was great pub grub nothing too over pretentious and staff very pleasant. Even the locals ryan had a chat a guided us in right direction of nice places to go nearby .Overall very welcoming pub
We were recommended to the Ring O Bells for the carvery. Although the car park is small we managed to get a space. We noticed locals popping in at lunch time for take outs! For me that was a good sign. We found the food was very good, atmosphere good and the pricing very reasonable. We will return.

Went for a meal for a special birthday and came away digusted and upset! I had to send my steak back as it was overcooked, I only wanted it rare, by the time my replacement had come out everyone had pretty much finished their meals. The plate was scolding hot like ridiculous so couldn't be touched, the second steak was cooked better but tasted awful and the bit I did try was charcoaled. It also had the biggest piece of fat on the otherside and was unappealing and unappetising. I tried a chip and again in was that scolding hot I burnt the roof of my mouth, everything had clearly been microwaved to heat up with a few extra chips thrown on top! I explained to the waitress that I wouldn't be able to eat, she did apologise. When it came to paying the bill we realised that we had been charged for said meal and explained that we wouldn't be paying as it hadn't been eaten. The chef/owner came out and was confrontational with us saying that we had to pay as they had cooked a replacement and the steak was cooked correctly the second time. Even with me saying that it tasted awful and was inedible and we shouldn't be charged for a meal that wasn't eaten he still said we had to pay! We came away disgusted and it ruined a lovely evening for a special birthday. This is the 3rd time we have been here and every time has been disappointing. 1st visit they tried to charge us for 2 bottles of wine and didn't even apologise for their mistake. 2nd visit they got the order wrong and the waitress was arguing with members of our party and now this! Won't be going back for a 4th visit! The manager clearly needs to going on a management course and learn how to treat customers! How they can charge someone for a meal that wasn't eaten and had to be sent back is beyond me!
Friendly welcome with excellent service and Menu food first class at reasonable prices, will come again and will recommend at every opertunity

Amazing after noon, fantastic music from Benny Guitar Carr and Cool Beanz. Delicious BBQ, wish I could have stayed all evening, but duty calls. Very well organized, excellent staff, great service, reasonable prices, lovely beer garden. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
