Used to be good, then they refurbished, place looks run down, not enough staff, depressing as hell now
Place is an utter shambles. The self serve machines to pay cash in NEVER WORK. If you want to wait in a line to cash your hard earned money in be prepared to stand about for an hour that I don’t have for one person that works there to deal with everyone. If you’re going to have the cheek to charge people to pay their money in and get rid of people workings the desks and have more self serve machines in at least update the technology that makes them work.
Queues out the door , pay in machines eat money and you then need to get someone to sort it and hang around, why the workers allowed this is beyond me. Have a person behind a desk to deal with, instead of someone loitering over your shoulder when you're using machines,or lurking at the door making you feel uncomfortable when you go in. Mental !
Always a huge wait and staff seem not to care as they engage in small tak and superfluous chat with regulars. Despite queues out the door, staff seem both not to care and to be working in slow motion. I've also never seen their coin-deposit ATM in operation, constantly out of order. Customer service is terrible.
Tried to deposit a cheque through the machine, which went out of service. Waited over 30 minutes for them to get it back for me then got sent back to the end of the very long queue with only 1 cashier. Takes an hour in the morning to pay in a cheque here, avoid!!
as a business customer this bank is a disaster, staff really need to be more customer focused. I would also confirm the comments of previous review that a lot of time wasted on idle chit chat while the queue is out the door.
The branch is an embarrassment. Unhelpful staff. Ridiculous queues. ATM's in branch are constantly out of order. Do not use this branch if you can. I feel sorry for the older customers who are left standing for sometimes 45 minutes whilst staff wander around infuriating customers by telling them they can't help.
We experienced brilliant customer care when the staff dealt with POA issues quickly and very efficiently. Yes we had to queue for a wee while but that's what you expect nowadays.
Me and my partner went to go cash a cheque and the queue was huge outside waited atleast 10 minutes to get in, staff were polite and helped us deposit the cheque and it only takes 2 days to cash a cheque
A terrible bank for queues,and theres never enough people serving you,always only 1 or 2 tellers serving a line of people thats going out the door,a shambles of a bank,why not put more tellers on when its soo busy just like every other shop does.
