The whole experience here is not to be missed. A group of over 30 of us were here yesterday evening for our works Christmas evening out and it was fabulous. Firstly I would like to give a big thank you to the staff who dealt with us from booking the event through to the staff looking after us all last night. You are all amazing! This was topped off with a great meal from the festive menu. Thank you so much for a memorable evening.
What a fantastic pub. Could not fault the Sunday roast. Cooked to perfection. Best coffee I've ever tasted in a pub. Amazing cheese board. Staff that bend over backwards to be accommodating. Dog and children friendly. Would highly recommend this pub.Rooms: 5/5
A proper mixed bag of a review. Arrived at roughly 1815 for food. We were told that we couldn't order food outside till after 1900....nope, I still can't figure it out. The food was really good for a pub but the service was as happy as a funeral, in fact I'd say the waiters and waitresses need a personality transplant.
Have been coming for several years. Service fantastic. Range of wines and beers great. Even great that car park is extensive. A great family couple dining place. But what is chicken liver parfait all about. Stick to original pate with crostini not raw breadcrumb and Gouda cheese. Awful. Won’t stop me coming but please not boring breadcrumbs and cheese.
Great afternoon meal here, very accommodating food was fantastic! I had fish and chips and quite honestly yes only fish and chips but the fish was the best I’ve eaten with batter on straight up perfect been a few times now since some of our family moved to Charlestown and each time it’s been great! Keep up the good work
Short visit but still excellent. Staff were professional and friendly, rooms we had were really well appointed and spotless. Breakfast was brilliant and the lady looking after the restaurant was excellent. Only really minor thing was the need to have macerator toilets in the rooms. A noisy option but unavoidable option but not so bad we would not stay there again with pleasure. A quick post breakfast walk was a great start to our day.
Nice friendly staff, we come here a lot and normally impressed with the food although tonight was disappointing. 11oz pork tasted really good but was no where near 11oz cooked or uncooked unfortunately. In addition the child's combo menu isn't very clear what's included and what's not, we were charge for drinks that were supposed to be included. Fast service though and nice staff
Hi. Just spent a lovely evening at the Rashleigh where we ate in the restaurant. Nice food and atmosphere but menu for a family pub was quite limited. The reason for losing 1 star was for staff attentiveness when we arrived. I'm quite a laid back kind of guy but we had booked our table online and when we walked in and tried to introduce ourselves we were completely ignored and felt awkward!! I understand you were busy but all I wanted was eye contact and a little"i'll be with you in a minute". This may seem petty but being in the customer service industry I would think this is a basic requirement!! Overall though a pleasant experience and I am just trying to give you honest feedback.
Lovely pub, serving food. Dog friendly biscuits and water provided Good food at v reasonable prices. Lovely staff very friendly . Clean & pleasant furnishings. Would definitely return & recommend to others. Car parking outside
Out of food, dogs on seats next to tables. Booking was cancelled by poor staff previously without warning so we had to re-book. Arrived at the booking and told they had non of the stand out mains. Steak, chicken etc, we had spoken to staff and they failed to mention this whilst we were en-route. To say the least the whole experience could've been better especially on Christmas Eve. No blame to the waiting staff as training and the availability of food is definitely the responsibility for management which like previously mentioned is poor.
