Popped in for a refreshment as hadn't been here for a while and at about 1pm the place was dead and staff none existent. If I'm honest the place could do with a lick of paint and tidying of seats as dirty in places and seating areas ripped. Would I recommend? I'm not sure yet this place is in a prime location and will do great under the right management. If I'm honest I wouldn't eat eat there as it just don't seem clean enough or enough staff to sort things.

We came for a Christmas dinner with all our family. Varied tastes and veggie and vegans in our group. We were all happy with the food, drink and especially the friendly and helpful Staff. Well done Barbara and team. Thank-you.

Friendly,helpful & professional staff. Food was hot & cooked perfectly. Served on time & tasted great. Staff asked if everything was ok which is what you want when you eat out. Would recommend a visit and can't wait to visit in the summer to enjoy the atmosphere in the out door seating area.

My first visit here, lovely homely pub. High class of clientele and we were lucky enough to partake of some of Sheila's marvellous little cakes. What a nice visit, as we remembered the life of our friend Gina.

Food was fabulous... Big portions and great taste..  table for 11 but all food came out on time and hot... Great service and really friendly staff... Highly recommended

First visit for a while. Standard pub menu but our meals were very nice and service was speedy. Service by the gent at the bar was friendly and efficient. Our waitress was probably the best I've come across,friendly,attentive and was doing a great job keeping the vacated tables clean and tidy.

Popped in for dinner before going out to a show. Hadn’t booked a table, but walked in and were offered a seat. Ordering was simple, staff were polite. Food arrived promptly and was delicious. Drinks were great. Will definitley be coming here more often.

Good Sunday lunch, very good staff, slightly burnt the roasters but was still ok

We was made very welcome as soon as we entered. Food was amazing, service was excellent waitress was very attentive its the best childrens menu we have seen my grandsons loved it. We can highly recommend old house at home def will going again .
