Usually use this store for buying my snacks , drinks and topping up my meters. Many years of custom and friendly service, had the shop manager running after me accusing me of stealing chewing gum after he wouldn't help me find a certain flavour I was looking for to help someone I was volunteering for. Left realising the reality of my custom. Probably won't shop here again now as the trust boundary has been crossed .
If i could i will give 0 stars ... i send throe that post office few packadges a month ago and they didnt arrive ... dont use this post office only if you want to your packadges get lost!!!!!!
Passive Aggressive Post Master - intent of intimidation of lone female. I went to this post office today for the first time to get my drivers license renewed. The male that served me made me feel humiliated and abused. The way he spoke to me was appalling. He was very condescending, rude and passively aggressive. He couldn’t explain anything and when I asked for my documents he refused to give them to me, cut them up and told me he had to keep them. I know this is completely incorrect. I felt so intimidated and helpless given his aggressive demeanour, I felt I couldn’t challenge him. I left the post office as quickly as I could because I felt frightened. I am still very upset and shocked. I will never return to this post office again and would strongly advise people not to use it. I will be making a formal complaint about the way he treated me.
Apparently they're unable to deliver parcels, but love to deliver blank empty red letters without even attempting to knock, call, press the buzzer or anything. Do you know how easy it'd be to just leave the parcels in the lobby like every other delivery company does? Also, thanks for being 10 miles away in the middle of nowhere for me to pick this up, my partners now missed out on her birthday gift. 9 months of this ridiculousness, sort yourselves out.
I am giving this post office a 5 star review ..I went here to renew my 10 year photo card driving licence and from start to finish, I had % excellent customer service. The gentleman who served me was extremely polite, and helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to return in the future to use the post office for any important documents etc. My photo licence arrived 4 days later.. I could not fault the service whatsoever. Thank you to Newport Post Office and the lovely gentleman who served me .
Very rude staff. Woman at the counter whistled to call me forward. Served me without even looking at me and didn't utter a word.
What a comedown for a city. We have gone from a proper post office in Bridge Street to a not too bad one in Kingsway to an excuse for one in Dock Street. Would rather not go there
I really impressed with service from the gentleman in the post office. He very professional and knowledgeable abt the product's. I always recan other friends to use this post office service.
Don't pay bank card they like take ur money not things you pays for
postman couldn't knock the door last Saturday in royal oak drive..just a card through the letterbox and gone before my sister could get down the stairs after spotting him through the window..she'd recovering from a hip operation so couldn't rush
