Old and tired services. Most refreshments are up on the bridge which crosses to the other side so are used by northbound and southbound traffic. However there was a 2 person lift for the disabled to access these. The refreshment areas were scruffy and untidy. It's not compulsory to wear face masks at the moment but for some reason Costa staff wore them- under their chins. Either wear one or not but don't pretend to be health conscious. Only 3 staff on the desk on a busy Saturday afternoon - consequently there was a long queue. No automatic ordering as in other Costa franchises on service areas. The accessible toilet was the furthest away from the entrance, at the end of a corridor which seemed very strange. I will be avoiding this stop in future.
A good service area for you to rest when you're tired from a long drive. Where you can eat with choices, they have Costa, Smiths, KFC, Greg's. With nice well maintained toilets. They also have 2 electric charging points and self service laundrette located outside.
A place besides M6, for small break. From good coffee shop like Costa Coffee to small supermarket, all necessary shops are there. You can also refill your fuel tank in the petrol station just outside of it. Take a small break for coffee & snacks & get refreshed . Enjoy your journey.
great. nice and tidy. This is my favourite service on the M6. Greggs, M&S, clean toilets. The only thing that I don't like is that the noisiest hand driers on the globe can be found here.
Located close to highway- it’s a good stop by location. It has lot of food and coffee options. Interestingly I came across a portable laundry service during our visit in Nov,22- sharing the pics.
We try to avoid stopping here unless absolutely necessary - services are very outdated, not particularly clean and not the easiest to navigate inside. Quite a limited amount of parking spaces so if you come through on a Saturday afternoon you'll be hanging about waiting for a space to free up. It's a one-way system but the signs are all twisted and bent out of shape so tend to be ignored/not seen. If you can, I'd recommend stopping earlier north or later south at Sandbach - it's much better.
This is a rather small and busy service station but it works well for what it is. The is a bridge to the other side with extra seating spaces too, which helps. Download the Moto Daily Deals app before you go in to make the prices a bit more bareable
Nice little services, stopped randomly to be honest for a coffee at Costa. They did get one of the drinks orders wrong so had to go back and change it. It was very clean in there and were lifts and disabled access.
Stopped here for a break. Toilets were clean. Nice to see a Greggs at motorway services. Staff were friendly and the food was good.
It is difficult to understand how such a vital resource, on prime English land, with such footfall, could have been allowed to grow in a fashion that is so offensive to the visitor's eye. I have seen neater arrangements of cardboard boxes thrown into a courier's van than the careless and ugly abutments of cubic structures placed here. Given this first impression, I was unable to use the so-called facilities. I'm sure the people who work here are very decent and customer-focussed.
