RBC is reducing the number of in-person banking days from 5 days/week to 3 days/week on June 5th, 2023. I previously called RBC client services to express my concerns about the reduced local customer service, and specifically, I asked that a senior executive call me. Absolutely no one called me!!! This rating doesn't reflect the local bank staff who provide excellent customer service. ATM machines do not replace in person services tellers, advusors, money exchange pickup, etc but rather ATMs compliment teller service only. Telephone service 1-800 numbers is absolutely horrible. Driving to North Bay is not convenient. Shame on the highly paid executives who made this decision. RBC continues to make huge profits while providing poorer and poorer customer service.
Excellent customer service and friendly tellers. Terrible banking hours. Closed for way too long. What about senior customers who do personal banking & not electronic banking. Terrible service for people who have accts there and can't get access to them. No, going to another bank is not an option.
Why even have a bank open so few hours.
