A lovely looking pub, with interesting decoration. Several screens showing sports, including one out in the beer garden.nQuite a big parking area around the back. Shame there isn't much of a view considering how close to the edge of the Chase it is...nFood was good, various offers on during the day. Friendly staff. The only downside I had was a dodgy pint of ale, I got it changed but my fault got confused changed it for the same one which was worse and drank some of it but it gave me a dodgy tummy later. I think everyone else in the pub was drinking lager...
Another amazing meal here again today.nMega mixed grill cooked to perfection and the Ultimate Burger was to die for.nEverything nice and hot, presented well and delivery to table with a smile. Greeted by a customer on arrival, as everyone talks to you and makes you feel welcome and to top it off Villa won, come on. Highly recommend this venue, nothing is too much trouble. Steve is a great welcoming host.
Driven passed this pub many times and wondered what it was like. Had lunch here with a Guinness. Food and drinks are reasonably priced. Food was good, with lots of choice on the menu. Staff friendly and attentive. I would definitely go again and recommend it.
I really cannot fault this pub.nThe food is spot on everytime I visit, no matter what dish i order.nThe staff are extremely friendly and check back to ensure everything is fine with the meal.nThe atmosphere here is very... let's say.. chatty. The locals are all so friendly and polite, even if they don't know you.
Fantastic food made by Fantastic staff. Every mixed grill cooked perfecting Steak. Never ever had a bad meal here. Also the bar staff are always so friendly and welcoming. Very much worth a visit.
