Travelling up to help a friend move and ended up with a bad chest infection. These guys helped me out so much, even though I was not a regular patient. Incredibly grateful!
I came at 17.38 today just to drop off registration form. Rang the buzzer to find out the lady already closed the door. I said to her I thought you're open until 6 pm. They are but she already closed the door.... I'm really disappointed especially driving from outside Pitlochry
I had the need to register as a temporary patient to obtain antibiotics for an unforseen infection. The reception staff I spoke to were very kind and helpful . A GP call back was given and the doctor was great. A prescription was issued and collected with the greatest of ease. I was very impressed with the surgery and care shown. Many thanks to an impressive team.
Travelling cross border from England. Rang to register as temporary residents so that we could be prescribed controlled drugs. The receptionist/administration were very unhelpful. Thankfully the pharmacist who we spoke to went over and well beyond our expections in ensuring that we had the correct amount of medication required for the rest of the journey . The receptions should take note!
I have lived in Pitlochry for 7 years and am just about to move away. This practice has been great. A special mention goes to Dr McCoy, an excellent GP with a great bedside manner. He not only remembers who I am but also many of the details of my life. If probably only takes a minute or two to skim my notes before I go in but this makes me feel like I am an individual rather than just another patient. I have also found the admin staff to be very helpful, compassionate and caring, unlike many medical admin folk who tend to be on the officious side. They are also, crucially, very efficient in the jobs they do. I see from the other reviews that that is not always the case but my experience of the admin/reception has been entirely positive.
My 96 year old Mum had a wish to be amongst her family when she passed and we could not have asked for a more compassionate surgery to enable this to happen. I cannot thank all the staff enough for their care and support to the family during this sad time. Their dedication and love is to be applauded. THANKYOU XXX.
Lovely doctors - dreadful administration. Everything is ‘computer says no’. They really need a revamp of their outdated systems. Having just moved from a different part of the country I have been horrified by how difficult they have made it to get an appointment when you really need one. Their repeat prescription service doesn’t work and their phone lines are useless.
The best practice I ever been with the staff are so friendly and caring and the doctor's are amazing I really do care and they go out of their way for their patience
Some excellent doctors and nursing staff but the management and reception staff are in desperate need of adequate training. Buck stops with the manager.
Very helpful when I was there last
