These people are not the quality builders they portray themselves as
I have bought a 4 bed house in Edenbridge
The sales person sold it as a premium quality development that was BT internet ready just needed a link by BT once you move in and had an access to town via a path behind the house straight into the high street

Once I moved in I find it doesn't even have a copper land line into it that works and all the broadband service suppliers tell me it is unserviceable as a property despite having a NTL installed super fast fibre cable just outside the house in the road. Turns out that it needs 27m of cable installing which is above the budget of all the suppliers

So we cannot get phone, broadband internet or TV despite Edenbridge having been on cable and in this street, for 18+ years! As a single parent that has to work from home at times this is difficult but having 2 teenagers it tantamount to child abuse!!!!!

And the path behind - turns out we have a right of way but it isn't owned by the development or developer and it isn't going to be made up unless by the owner of the land (which isn't the owners of the 6 houses). So it's currently unusable. 

Not only have Asprey's denied all knowledge of this and referred me to the specification which is silent but have outsourced the defects to a warranty company who are as responsive as treacle to a dropping feather

I have had to spend thousands getting the garden levelled (usual clay and a bit of top spread over piles of construction rubble) 30% of the lawn was dead and I have sockets that don't work, a bath that runs only tepid water, kitchen units so flimsy that they are not strong enough to break the seal of the appliances so pull of the inner door, extractor fans that don't switch off, neff microwave that the door release broke and won't open and the control panel ceased to function,
The floors had not been finished level enough to have wood floors laid as finished and I've only lived here 3 weeks

Not what you expect for over half a million pounds

My advice so far, based on my experiance to date and the response I get from the company is NEVER EVER buy a house from ASPREY HOMES of Westerham
