Don't be fulled by their own 5 star on their website reviews. I only checked them after I have been charged twice without invoice. So once you give them your bank details in the desperate plumbing emergency, they will take it again and now we have tried to get our money back over 1 month. It's impossible to speak to anyone, right person is never in or I was promised to get a call back that never happen. I have been passed from one person to another until month later I have reached screaming manager, that had no interest to hear me out and I was told if I am not happy of not getting through, it is only my own fault of keep calling them. Not to mention unqualified plumbers. I was advised to spend another £150 to call gas engineer to check our boiler in the building that has no gas and no boiler?? I ended up to call other professional

The work was effective. However this fraudulent company charged me 200% more than I should've been charged. I ordered the drainage service on 1st April, and they told me they will charge the first hour plus VAT before starting the service. Then I gave them my card over the phone - WARNING: NEVER TRUST THEM LIKE I DID. At the end, the service was 40 mins. The engineer even kindly reminded me that the service would be charged as 1 hour even it was not 1 hour. HOWEVER THEY charged me DOUBLE because my service was "overtime". After that, I wrote them email and called them. They ignored my email, dodged my phone call and hanged up very rudely. It has been one week and I heard nothing from them. RUN AWAY THIS COMPANY AS FAR AS YOU CAN.

Rip off artists and liars. Initially I called Aspect due to our boiler failing. While the engineer was there, I mentioned that the pressure in the boiler was continually dropping, and that a previous engineer had said that it could be a leak and that the floorboards may need to be taken up. He diagnosed the issue as being related to a part in the boiler itself and pretty much dismissed the idea that there could be a leak. In spite of Aspect's extremely expensive rates (£125 an hour as opposed to the £70 or so you'd pay to a private contractor), I just wanted to get it fixed, so agreed to the work. However, the day after it had been done, the pressure dropped again. When he came back to look at the problem (arriving at 5.15 despite us being told he would be with us between 2 and 4), it turned out that there was a leak after all and the issue had not been fixed at all. I asked him to confirm that we would not be charged for this visit, which he did to both myself and my wife. I was therefore shocked to find that Aspect had taken another £168 out of my account. When I called them to complain about this, they told me they would get back to me, but actually ended up simply emailing me a copy of the invoice again. Now here's the thing. The Aspect contractor will ask you to "sign" their report on a tablet but won't actually show you it unless you ask. Naively, I trusted him when he told me I wouldn't be charged. However, his report clearly indicated that he had every intention of charging me. Not only that, he billed his time as 1 hour 5 minutes when he had only been at the property for 50 minutes or so. Do not trust these liars. They are only interested in fleecing you as much as they possibly can.

Handyman - really poor, my elderly Mum needed some holes put in at the side of her sink in order to have her new dishwasher installed, and a chap called Richard attended her home and nothing, you are charged the standard flat rate of £75 + VAT for the first hour, the job wouldn't have taken anymore than 15 mins to do, he was in and out without completing the task that was requested. When the man turned up to install the dishwasher he was appalled that we have been charged for a non-completed job. As I was unable to be on site to ensure the job was completely correctly, i think this chap has taken more than liberties on an elderly WOMAN. Terribly disappointed and disgusted having to pay a bill for a job not even done.

Visited and took payment but never did the work. Please avoid this company, they visited my property for less than 5 minutes, told me they would come back with parts, and never did. They then charged me the full hour for this "service". I have been trying for weeks to get this resolved but they are useless on the phone and unresponsive to emails. Suggest using a Which? trusted handyman instead as I did if you want the job done with good service. Lesson well and truly learned!
