If you're looking for a swanky wine bar then Askern Miners Welfare isn't for you. If you're looking for a casual local club with cheap drinks then the Welfare is where you should be. We had my Mum's 60th birthday party here and had a great night. The concert room is fairly old fashioned but with a bit of decoration it looks really good. We had the club arrange a buffet for the party and it was good, with a nice selection of foods all prepared well.

The beer is good. There are bar games facilities here including snooker. Singers perform on Saturday nights.

A four point seven five star club which has pub sports at its heart, dart boards, a snooker table and pool tables. There is live music every Saturday night. The assets include sports grounds. The beer could be a lot better, no real beer.
