Great option amongst all the restaurants within the O2. When choosing an Italian there are so many options with other chains but I was pleasantly surprised with ASK Italian in the O2. Staff were very friendly and waitressing team were attentive. I had a chicken and prosciutto pizza which was delicious. Unfortunately the QR code said a couple of the menu items weren’t available but when ordering the traditional way, the team made sure we could order what we originally wanted! Overall great little spot, nice decor with “outside” seating available. Always a good option if you are in the O2 area and looking for an Italian!
The food was superb. The staff were very polite and friendly and the service was quick. I tried the vegan No'Duja Vegana as I'd not had one before. I was very pleasantly surprised, it was an amazing pizza! My reason for 4 stars not 5 is there was a very shrill beep that happened every minute, this went on for about 30 mins, until I asked a waiter what it was. They said they didn't know, but would look into it. Vegetarian options: We had the vegetarian options, and the vegan pizza the No'duja Vegana was simply amazing! Wheelchair accessibility: My guest was in a wheel chair, and they were very polite and helpful, gave us a convenient place to sit and there was an accessable toilet downstairs
Absolutely wonderful meal, I went late afternoon my first time ever going and as soon as I got there I was presented with wonderful customer service and shown to my table. Me and my partner got offered a lemon juice which was such a good way to start off the meal, we sat and ordered drinks, then food - starter was fondue. - mains - pollo e roquito pepe and mushroom and truffle calzone. Both starter and main were absolutely lovely. The pizza had onions on I’d asked for it not to and they changed it very quickly. The reason it is 4 stars not 5 is because I showed my taste card and the boss/manager said ‘you can’t use that today’ although I was told at the door I could, but he let us eventually, he just seemed very rude, me and my partner weren’t dressed smart as we had gone last minute but he seemed to have quite a judging look when he looked/engaged with us, be he left not long after. However due to the 2 staff members Maria and Scott being so polite and fast with everything the meal went perfectly So a huge thank you to Maria and Scott!!
Mixed feelings about here. Was a busy night as a gig was on, but surely they are used to this? Firstly, waiter had an out of control bottle of prosecco, not his fault I know, but we lost probably half a glass down him and the floor... I was expecting a new bottle, but nope, served us and went off leaving a puddle in the floor He was a nice bloke though and was attentive after this. A different one though, balding, he was just plain rude. Bought the starters over, didn't ask who was having what, just plonked them down and ran off. When bringing mains, didn't ask if we wanted anything else, just plonked down and ran off so we had to almost shout.. can we have pepper! The pasta dish my wife had was just not very pleasant, stodgy is the word we would use Folded garlic bread starter, just seems odd, it's a normal bread but have folded the sides on it, not sure why. My pizza was nice enough, the fizz was nice, but it all could be better. To order food, you scan a QR code. Great, let's get a drink while we decide what to it. Tried, but apparently our table didn't exist .. tried again, same issue. Ok maybe they just come and take our order... Appears not as 10 minutes on and still no order. Grab a waiter, this was due to them not opening the table or something and once he did this although didn't come.back to say it had been done we could order away. Overall, just left feeling like it could all be better. Toilets are lovely, that's the best bit.
Exceptional, accomodating staff. Good menu and prices. Lots of seating space. Clean place. Toilets upstairs. Quick service. Nice spot to visit for coffee and food in O2Food: 4/5
RECOMMEND! This restaurant is cozy and quiet, I really enjoyed dining there. Pasta is fresh, chewy and good quality, all the dishes I ordered are absolutely impressive.
Went for dinner with friends last night, food was ok! Although slightly cold, We ordered desserts that were served to us at different times even though it was the same dish! But the best was the espresso martini cocktail I ordered see pic when I questioned the drink that was served to me and explained it should be like the one you are advertising! I was told by the manager that the barman was in a mood because his cat had been poorly and that’s why the cocktail wasn’t made correctly! I’m sorry but what excuse is that? The correct cocktail was bought over , but still what terrible service!
Visited here Thursday afternoon during October half term. The place was quite. The ladies toilets were in a dreadful state. Server friendly but very food bland. Our host seemed grumpy, maybe it was a long day for him!! We requested a table of 5 with a high chair and after looking around, a practically empty resturant, placed us in far corner and told us to use app. We called him back over and requested menus as I find this easier. Our female server was very friendly. We ordered two pizzas from kids menu, my friend ordered a pasta dish while I ordered two starters, risotto balls and prawns, and a side salad for my mains. We explained to server to bring it all out together. After 20mins we received my two starters and waited another 10 for our drinks. When these arrived we asked for rest of the dishes and server said "oh the order goes to kitchen as starters first". I replied I specifically told you we wanted all dishes together!! No apology just a shrug. My friends' main dish came after my two dishes were eaten & cleared. The risotto balls were bland and served with a cold tomato salsa. The prawns were butterfly cooked and okay. My little side salad that came after was very disappointing. It consisted of cucumber slices, onion & maximum 3 baby tomatoes with wilted lettuce. It had no dressing and was a sad sight. The children enjoyed their pizza, but were asked about desserts half way through which made them stop eating to order them. Desserts of icecream arrived and uneaten pizza left on table!!! We visited the ladies after our meal and if I done before hand I would not have eaten there. It was in a dreadful state. Out of four toilets only one was usable. One was blocked, one had menstrual blood all over rim and other had pee on rim and no toilet paper. It seemed as there is never any toilet checkups . I would not visit this restaurant again nor would I recommend. It is not Italian and is an embrassement to state it is.
Very busy place, especially on the day of events at O2! But excellent service, good ambiance and very tasty food.
I would have liked to give them a four star rating but it is tough to give it them. Turned up without a booking and it was a quick seat here, the waiter was not really listening to our request maybe he did not hear us over the loud music. I can let that go, it was hard to get anyone attention to get Tomato/Mayo sauce. Mains arrived but over 15 minutes to get the side orders, eventually the manager said sorry about to issue however I didn’t get the garlic & herbs chips I had originally ordered but the my gave me the normal chips. Manager said as we had paid on the app, there was nothing he can do but can offer us free deserts for us. Nice of him, he was the younger man of the two mangers on duty. The deserts where nice but again, they all turned up at different times. So either the app doesn’t work properly or someone missed the side orders
