Great food and pleasant staff. Would definitely recommend
Very polite staff and excellent food. I recommend this place.
Food was good, service was poor. We had a gift card that entitled use to a free, 3 course meal for 2. We confirmed before sitting down it was valid. The bill arrived and we'd been charged for the food, waitress refused to accept it had already been paid for and the manager was out "buying garlic mayonnaise" so couldn't intervene. After 20 minutes of faffing the manager returned and confirmed the meal had already been paid for. Disappointing overall, will avoid in future.
Came here yesterday for lunch. The service was amazing. Instantly got greeted by a lovely waitress and taken to a table. The food was incredible and the restaurant is so nicely presented and clean. My waitress Sandra was amazing, went above and beyond to provide the best service. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back.
I never leave reviews but now had such bad service on 3 separate occasions I had to do it. The food here is great so decided to order a collection instead.... painful experience. Couldn't order kids size on the app so called, got through after 5 or 6 attempts to be told can you ring back in 2 minutes! Tried ringing back.... no answer. My sister said she would go and pick it up for us and order in store. They weren't even that busy and the manager Christina has a terrible attitude, said it would be an hour wait, we couldn't use the discount voucher when we could and if were weren't happy we could take it or leave it...... we obviously left it and took our business to pizza express across the road who were fantastic. Such a shame that ASK Watford is going down the toilet due to a lack of management and customer service. Another lost customer
This is one of my favourite restaurants in Watford. Converted from the old post office the high ceilings and large windows make the place feel light and spacious. The food is always very good and the staff are polite and attentive. I have never felt rushed when I have been in this restaurant unlike other Italian restaurants in Watford. Great for lunch or dinner. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Good place for lunch away from the bustle of the high street. Pizza was very good, but not exceptional. Like many chains, I suspect they were using frozen dough. The starters were excellent, and very generous portions. The coffee was good. Staff ftiendly. Nothing not to like. Prices reasonable for an Italian restaurant. Likely to go there again.
Worst restaurant in Watford. Table service appalling. Had 3 different waitresses which just brought food out. No body cleared the table between meals. Took the forever for food to come between each course. The restaurant was empty so there was no excuse apart from the fact i could see all the staff members chit chatting behind the bar. The gentlemen with no hair need a to be fired, his customer service was terrible, no help what so ever. And to top it off the dessert chocolate bomb was a chocolate rock. Seemed like it had been in the freezer for a couple of days. Inedible. Will not be going back. Do no recommend. I like Ask. But shut this one down. Would rather a nice restaurant be put there.
Very nice inside, with a polite and attentive young waitress. I tried the vegan pizza with butternut squash also used instead of tomato, for some unknown reason, which was surprisingly good. The thin base was nicely crispy in parts unlike the Pizza Express undercooked one I had the following day, it was properly seasoned and full of flavour. The Mozzarella alternative was surprisingly pleasing, not chewy and substantial like the cheese, but oozingly melting and lovely. Two faults though: one of the toppings was supposed to be pumpkin seeds, of which there was ONE, right in the middle. That's silly nonsense; if a topping is listed, but missing, I'm not getting what I paid for. Secondly, I ordered an extra topping of mushrooms, for £1.95; the amount of mushroom appeared to be literally one small mushroom or even half thinly sliced. Whilst there shouldn't be too much topping else the base won't cook, this was ludicrous. It seems a common trend for these chains, but I just can't see how that level of profiteering is really necessary. A pity, because as mentioned, the pizza was good.
Walk away... We booked a table in advance and when we came in, had to wait about 5min for someone to acknowledge us and get us seated. Then we were basically left to our own devices. 10-15min later no one had even come to get our drinks order. Table next to us who had clearly been there for awhile were asking why their food was taking so long. so we got up and walked out. No one even noticed.. or cared..
