Very nice service and food was lovely. Only criticism I have was the batter was a little heavy but it tasted nice and had lots of crispy bits the mushy peas were good and the fish was very tasty.
Myself, my daughter and my grandson have had dinner there before heading to Inverurie Panto, every year for several years. There are other very good places to eat in Inverurie but The Ashvale has become a tradition for us. We have never been disappointed with anything. The food is delicious,the staff are all excellent and the atmosphere always makes us feel good. Please keep doing exactly what you have been doing now for several years.
Jumbo fish supper and everything was soggy, I did all the tricks to keep it crispy no vinegar until home and kept the plastic bag open and still wet as anything when I got home 5 min drive. Flavour was okay but texture was almost unbearable.
Had soup and a roll. Soup was out a tin and the roll was dry. Not worth £7.95. Partner had a burger and chips and was barely warm again not worth £10.95
Been here several times standard is very good much superior to the ashvales in great western rd Aberdeen they serve small fish mostly batter chips are dry the public need value for money otherwise custom is lost its obvious the customer will remove the batter no point trying to hide a small fish inverurie is by far the best staff are lovely and friendly.

Great staff, very helpful and nice location but food is average, nothing special, avoid chicken. Fish and chips used to be tasteful here but unfortunately the standard is lower than what it used to be.
Worst chippy we've ever had very disappointed , last time we ate in pre covid and was 100% , felt like very cheap ingredients
We always pop in when we are passing and the Ashvale never fails to please. Lovely prompt, friendly service with a great menu. The battered scampi being my favourite. I'd highly recommend.
