MashaAllah Big and Beautiful mosque quite place.approximately 10 min walk from Ashton town centre.
Well built with good intent but, Poorly maintained.nBadly managed.nThat's the summary.nThe community hall roof has been leaking for many years now.nThe drains clog up regularly, making it impossible to breathe in the building due to the stench. Specially if you arrive for the morning prayers. Because the stench has been accumulating all nightnThe community hall has chairs and folding desks and carpets stored in unsafe way.nAgain for many years now.nWireless mic loses signals regularly during sermon and prayers, making it be very difficult to hear what's being said from the podium.nThe car park in front of the building and the walkway from the rear car park are in need to a jet wash. The moss , mould and dirt deposit are so bad that paving blocks are barely visible. Also gets slippery and unsafe due to that, when it's raining.nThe rear car park gate has no securing point. There's a heap of cinder blocks, but that's hardly the right solution. When the gate is open, it's just swinging, and someday it will hit a passing car.nI understand it's a charitable organization, and management are unpaid volunteers, spending own time for the organization. Kudos to them for what they achieved and are doing.nBut that doesn't mean that the above mentioned problems should be ignored for as many years as they have been.
This is beautiful Masjid with spaces to cater for all the community. They have a big prayer hall, facilities for women and a recreational hall for gatherings, weddings and fund raising etc. Also a kitchen. Beautiful people very welcoming and warm. May Allah bless them all.
Beautiful thought out planning. Atrium area is lovely. Spacious community centre for booking.nnThe Masjid itself is well laid out with ample space for prayers and a ladies section.nnMain prayer hall has a built in projector screen for classes and Friday Khutbah.
Large and spacious mosque with ample parking at the front and rear of the mosque. The sisters area is upstairs and quite large with good capacity, even in Ramadan for Taraweeh prayers.
