"Ashmole is a high performing 11-19 mixed school that seeks to provide the highest quality of education and the highest standard of academic success for its students. We have around 1500 students on roll including a Sixth Form of around 380 students. We place emphasis on all areas of the curriculum being highly successful. However, within that, we seek to stress extracurricular Music and at the Sixth Form level, Science and Maths as particular aspects of the schools provision. At Ashmole Academy, young people are valued. We regard academic success as vital and work very hard to ensure that all students fulfil their true potential. We have very high expectations from all our students. Ashmole Academy is also a caring school."

Being a parent to two children who currently attend Ashmole Academy, I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and the facilities provided to ensure the very best of education is delivered. The encouragement and discipline that is applied to the students as soon as they enter year 7 is sufficiently exercised so that the children settle as quickly as possible and feel happy and safe. This in turn promotes a good work ethic from the start and the praise and rewards that are given keep moral levels high. Yes the children are expected to work hard but this is a highly respected and effective school with exceptional standards. They so obviously want the best for their students. That in itself is as a result of great leadership and impressive teacher commitment which is so apparent from the many parents evenings and meetings one has to attend. It is nice to see that the same attention and support continues right through to the sixth form where the staff instil the values of independence and self worth. My children are very happy there and always have been.
I left Ashmole almost 10 years ago and I still have fond memories of my time there. I attended from Year 7 through to Sixth Form. I had very supportive teachers who always encouraged me to work harder and continuously offered support. Without them I wouldn't have received the grades that I did which enabled me to get into my choice of university. Overall I had great experiences at Ashmole and will always remember my time there.
I attended Ashmole Academy from Year 7 through to Sixth Form and this school helped me get to where I am today. With a combination of high-quality education and outstanding teacher support, I was able to achieve fantastic grades and get into my choice of university. I will always be thankful for the opportunities Ashmole Academy provided me with and everything I learnt during my time here.
Ashmole Academy is an outstanding school with not only terrific academic records but also fantastic extracurricular activities and facilities. Ashmole provides amazing support to students of all talents and abilities and played a major part in my current career post sixth form. I would highly recommend Ashmole to any students looking to start secondary school or sixth form.
My sons attended the school. They were very happy. I often attended the school for various events, parents meeting etc. I found the teachers were sincere and they put in good efforts for the students. The outdoor sports facilities are quite good. The school is quite active in promoting sports.
As I entered Ashmole in my younger years as a keen student, I genuinely only had good things to say and see about my school. However, as the time has progressed I have come to the harsh realisation that the school does not practise what they preach, rather turns the other cheek. Myself and my younger sister have both been victims of racial abuse in school grounds many times, and although Ashmole clearly states in their planner, as well as various assemblies to students and parents that "there is a 0 tolerance for bullying", they disregarded this and I even g ot told to "look up the definition of bullying", insinuating what we experienced was not serious enough to be called bullying.
I studied at Ashmole right through from Year 7 until 6th Form. Although it's some time now since I left, I still remeber the excellent teaching and dedicated staff. Teachers always had an open door policy and gave encouragement to all students. I really did learn a lot and went on to study further at University and I'm grateful for the oppurtinities that Ashmole gave me!
Mr Brown is the smartest business man in the education system. He is not a teacher. A teacher of capitalism, possibly. Any school that allows a caffeine dispensary to sell within their school does not care about the students. Any school that makes kids wear clip-on ties does not prepare them for real life. A school that will sacrifice grounds to squeeze on a primary school does not believe in proper exercise. No man who works that little should get paid so much. Especially when all the good teacher's are being replaced by younger, clearly lower paid staff. Oh they have 100% A*-C at GCSE though....
Very bad school. Run by nasty person, who has no care in the kids well being and is only focused on results. Too much focus on uniform and other pointless silly rules rather than pastoral care and bulling. I have seen this school boot out kids for very minor things as it is too much trouble to help them and guide them. Ex teacher
The place is good. I have really got my eye on this place because its great and the teachers are polite and wonderful, though they need to buck up a bit. I would love to go back there again
