"The Ashiana is an award-winning Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant, located just off the A1 at North Muskham, near Newark in Nottinghamshire. It prides itself on serving only freshly cooked curries, made with the finest ingredients. As everything is cooked to order, we are happy to accommodate our customers' requests for changes to our menu. We also have Letting Rooms available for when guests need to stay overnight. In addition to our luxurious restaurant, we also offer alfresco dining in our dedicated garden. There is a dedicated Ashiana Takeaway at nearby Long Bennington, located just a 10 minute drive down the A1 from our restaurant. We are open 364 days a year to serve our customers the finest in Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine."

The best Indian food you will ever eat. Takes us around 50 minutes to get there but worth the drive. The choice is amazing. Every dish cooked to perfection. Perfect time in-between courses. Staff friendly and not pushy. Lovely surroundings inside with a really lovely atmosphere buzz. As the Americans would day. You Gotta Eat Here Y'all.Food: 5/5
Visited this restaurant with work colleagues and had an excellent meal. Of the 10 of us, there were no complaints regarding the food or price. 10/10 in all areas. I personally have a severe nut allergy and although important don't like to make a fuss or trouble staff. "Jay" was fantastic and went that extra mile making sure I was sorted, really appreciated that. Take my hat off to the whole team!
Very good food! Would recommend to all to visit. However, you must book as it’s get very busy. I had a table of seven at 18:00 on Saturday night expecting it to be relatively quiet at that time, it was close to full capacity at that time, and was still extremely busy as we left around 20:20. Service was good but we did wait a bit for our mains. Will be coming back for sure.
Absolutely mind blowing. Amazing quality and cooked to perfection. Such tender meat and incredible flavours. Nice range of dishes I’ve not seen anywhere else as well as the usual favourites. Will definitely be back…
Absolutely love the food from here. Chef's are first class, and wife is very fussy but loved all the food, we only had takeaway as we were staying up the road on the Milestone caravan park but wish we had gone into the restaurant now. Si made me very welcome and chatted to me while I waited for my food and before I left he gave me a bottle of Cobra beer on the house. I would give 7 stars like the hotels in India if I could. The waiter and service was great. However the food was absolutely shocking! From such a place and price I would have expected fine banqueting. The food arrived was extremely bland and tasteless. This was supposed to be a in-house speciality dish! Very disappointing… It was just mixed in over the counter purchased sauce and no effort was made to ensure the food had a certain pizzazz about it. I will not be using your business again and will certainly be going elsewhere from now on. Poor food, good service and way over priced for such a mediocre dish. Thank you.
Recent takeaway , very disappointing quality of meal especially one dish which we were concerned about, the meat was like leather and after a bite was dodgy. My partner ventured and had upset stomach. After informing the manager his response to ensure it won’t happen again! Worst curries I’ve ever had. We will not be back!
Went on valentines day and the place was full...even with this being the case there was no long waiting times for the food and drinks which was great. from starter to main very tasty. We both struggled to eat all our curry as there was enough for 2 with lots of meat. We will be back. Thank you for a great valentines meal.
Went to celebrate a 60th birthday in a party of 18. Was fantastic. The service was excellent, very attentive staff. The food was amazing. We will definitely be back.Food: 5/5
