Would recommend the Ashbourne bike centre. The bikes were in excellent condition. Manual bikes available for half day hire and electric bikes for full day, along with tandems and 3-wheelers.nnThe staff was hugely knowledgeable, able to provide details of coffee shops, historic points and village stops along the Tissington Trail. Would fully recommend this hire place.
Me and Emma had a great time on the tissington trail, cycling through some beautiful places recommended by Chris, his knowledge and passion behind the history of the location is remarkable and we took in as much as we could throughout the day. To anybody that does the entire trail it can seem steep as it's a gradient up hill on the way, but you'll zoom back on your return. If we can do it you definitely can! The pies at the Royal Oak were definitely worth the leg burn the next daynThanks again Chris, don't forget to get that passenger door sorted
Great bike, great service from Tim and really enjoyed the Tissington and High Peak trails. Highly recommend the hire shop and the ride. Couldn't have been easier to get ebikes and on our way. Very reasonable prices.
I recently visited a bike hire establishment to rent an electric bike and was pleased to find that their prices were quite reasonable. The bikes available were in really good condition, indicating that the shop takes good care of their equipment. The customer service provided was exceptional; the staff was helpful and attentive, making the rental process smooth and straightforward. Additionally, the convenience of being able to pay with a card was a plus. Overall, my experience was very positive, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking to rent a bike.
Highly recommend these guys for hiring a bike to explore the surrounding area, in particular the wonderful Tissington Trail! Good bikes coupled with the friendly, knowledgeable staff got me and my brother cycling off along the trail within minutes! I can't wait to return one day soon and complete the remainder of the trail!!!
