This store has gotten rid of loads of decent staff only to replace them with self service checkouts. They want you to basically do everything yourself with minimum staff contact. The tills which do have staff on have the biggest queues. One thing will go wrong and it takes an age to resolve. Loud blaring disco music its like torture. Never again
Becoming extreamly dissatisfied with Asda's over use of automated tills and lack of employed staff. Staffing was that bad tonight that half the automated tills was shut as not enough staff you couldn't write this, we need to put a stop to this before everybody is out of work ASDA bring back manned tills and human interactions, job security and stop being profit hungry or I will be shopping elsewhere People before profit !!!
Standard Asda covering George, Home furniture, Bakery, groceries etc. Also has Krispy Kreme, Leon coffee and Photo printing. Has a manned Pharmacy and separate Entertainment section. Entrance at two ends of the mall.
Nice store with lots of choice. Asda George isn't huge, but it's ok. Staff are helpful and friendly
Terrible store I was in Tuesday ,only one till in use.20 deep waiting at till 25mins to get served everybody complaint really really not acceptable
Always overpriced with obviously fake rollback's that still cost more than other branded stores. It's a magical experience visiting wythenshawe civic centre Asda ! Most of the Asda brands are permanently "vanished off the shelves leaving no other choice if your desperate but to buy the only other choice "very" very expensive big name retail brands !! Unsurprisingly gets blamed on either Brexit or the recession the real culprit being .Gov for being tax hungry grabbers. Not the peoples fault that the Uk is 2+ £trillion in debt.
Disjointed layout. Directional signs on aisles not updated so you you are looking in the wrong place for products.
Really good food shopping the pizza place the staff are a bit moody and are in no rush to help you
Visited store during my lunch break, I was waiting at a self serve till to purchase my items but needed a carrier bag, I waited for 10 minutes for a colleague to scan a bag but they didn't see me so I went to get a bag myself bearing in mind it is self service . Upon taking a bag the store colleague proceeded to shout at me stating I should wait for them to scan the bag, I told her I'd been waiting 10 minutes and I'm on my lunch break and took a bag, scanned the bag myself and proceeded to scan my other items. Then the security manager came over to me and told me I had to wait for the colleague to scan the bag, I stated I'd been waiting 10 minutes and also there are no signs stating I had to wait for the staff member to scan the bag, to which he replied I'm telling you the colleague has to scan the bag. At this point I said if you won't listen the please get out of my space, to this the security guard banned me from the store. I tried to speak to the manager who didn't really want to listen once the security manager started making allegations of swearing and being agressive, i asked for video evidence from the body cam however the security manager stated he doesn't need evidence because he's the security manager. In a nutshell the store manager then said he back his staff member despite no evidence because he's known him for 3 years. So morale of the story don't question security staff if you don't want to be barred from this store. Pathetic !!
Good sized store, very clean and tidy. Staff ok but check out lady was great. Post office opposite and a B&M next door.
