A small place that you are to find the basic needs you require. I thought it would be a bigger place, disappointed I was.nStill you are to find a variety of things for your day to day shopping.nShelves are a bit packed, spaces between the isles are somehow tiny, I know they are trying to benefit from each inch.nThe good thing is a decent size parking and a fuel pump too.
Not as huge as some of the mega asda stores in Edinburgh but the staff are great. Prices are competitive. Store is always clean and the fresh produce always looks good.
So disappointed, want to buy lottery tickets at 9:45pm, the cashier said I can’t buy any from number 1 till 8, which all cost £5, so I only was allowed to buy tickets which was cheaper , and I don’t want to buy them, so I asked why? and he explained that this tickets already counted and locked, and they can’t sell them after 10pm, then I said, is not even 10pm, so can I still buy them, he still disagree, so I asked to call manager, not sure if that man was a manager looks same as cashier uniform and said same thing, but it was not even 10pm looks someone don’t want to do their job as shop works till 11pm, I think even tickets should be sold till the end, but definitely not till 9:30pm, maybe someone knows asda rules?
Only went to the petrol station and used the pay at pump. Being a motorcyclist pay at pump is very convenient so I don't have to go through the rigmarole of removing helmet/ear plugs/scarf etc then putting it all back on. It's well covered from rain etc and it's entrance is located on the main road so no riding around the store car park to get to it.
Don't go there after 8om if you think you may need to use the toilets as they are locked up. I politely said what happens if you have problems with bladder issues. They said they didn't have the keys the cleaning company does. Come on ASDA get your act together. Not everybody has visible issues
