Really disappointing. I’m a staff nurse and colleagues have mentioned having difficulty using their blue light cards. They’ve been made to show their actual works cards as well. This isn’t in the policy for using blue light cards in Asda’s. Today, I tried to buy the wards Christmas food for the staff working over Christmas. I was denied again, as it was for the ward, not my own personal shop. Not exactly supporting the local community here at all.
Absolutely no enforcement of disabled bays. I often see around half or more of the available disabled spaces occupied by vehicles without a disabled badge. Just had to watch a woman wait for a disabled space to become available while two spaces were occupied by men sat in their cars with no badges visible. This is a constant occurrence at this location but the security evidently do nothing to check and move them on.
Plenty of parking lots of room good selection of disable bays but there is a few shoppers who park there without disable badges the bays are not monitored staff are fantastic very helpful and always happy to help that's why I give five stars
Staff here are great. Wish they would do something about disabled bays as they are constantly used by people with no blue badge!
Always a warm welcome and when I have had to approach staff with any queries they have always been more than happy to help and I can truthfully say are genuinely easy to approach. They are truly happy, smiley humans with a sprinkling of all the old singing and dancing an awesome blend of True valley heroes and heroines.
Just been to asda tonypandy and went to eat one of there gluten free mince pies, only to find out that the best before date was the 17/11/22.
Very friendly and helpful stuff. However not all products are available lately.
ASDA Tonypandy have a ridiculous ID system in place that makes no sense. When carrying out a weekly food shop I was refused alcohol despite showing ID and being 29 years of age because my younger sister was with me? Again on a separate occasion me & my friend were carrying out seperate shops but my friend was declined alcohol in her shop due to me not being able to show any ID. If I or anyone else was shopping with a 2 year old child then I would presume that following Asda’s policy the child would be asked to present ID? No other shop/ store in the UK follows this policy & none of the staff are able to provide any sort of guidelines to this policy. This same thing has happened to my mother whilst shopping with a child. If I had gone to a separate checkout with my shopping, my friend would have been served her alcohol with her ID?? But according to staff, not the case because we would be seen together? So apparently someone is monitoring the cctv as well looking at who is shopping together throughout the store 24/7?! Utter joke. I refuse to shop in this store due to its downright petty, empty, misguided policy that they have created.
I do my shopping here every week as I'm familiar with the layout and can go directly to the items that I want
Very rude staff.standing in the middle of aisles chatting,when people are trying to get passed with trolleys.then when you try to get passed with trolley.a very rude member of staff says curtesy costs nothing really.what are you doing chatting in the middle of the aisles.
